Ah yes, I know that I am not original in my posting of art, but the subject matter is. I post this to display my weak skills in imitating -if not Jhonen's characters- then his style. It has been bastardized with anime influences, and the characters are all mine, and were used in the comics I drew for my high school newspaper.
The last one isn't on there (which is a shame because it features Algernon the Attack Squid) and neither is the Prom one, but the ones that are here are pretty decent, I think.
I must admit, these were my first experiences with inking using actual pens with nibs, so I screwed up a lot. Go easy on me.

OK, so our main character is Aubrey, the girl w/ glasses. she is a transfer student. Sazuki is the nut w/the ganguro look going on, and Madoc is the guy, and yes, he is a werewolf. If the copying has made it illegible, I apologize. (Oh, and Kazrin is the homicidal alter ego of Sazuki, but I haven't drawn her yet.)

This one's unfinished because the school wanted something for football season that wouldn't get me lynched (I live in a hick town where they all go to the stadium Friday nights to worship their god, the Almighty Football!)
I just couldn't do it.

Sazuki and the teacher (who is based off of one of my friends, and who is holding a GIR-like thingy.) I like the moose.
This pretty well summed up my attitude the whole last year of school.

Very nice mrgreen I hate to say, I can draw animals and inanimate objects, but drawing people is my big handicap. And I can't afford nice pens xd I use those crappy four dollar Office Max ones......

And for pens, Wal-Mart, giant throbbing corporate evil though it is, has some lovely pens- look for the Pilot brand. As for the actual nibbed pens and inks, they're in greatest variety and with the most price choice at Hobby Lobby.

those are great!!! I cant draw my way out a paper bag if my life depended on it.
I did draw a picture of jhonen yesterday tho. but the background is horrible.
i'll have to fix that scanner so i can post it.
anyway, Great comic!! i couldnt read some of the words tho. a lil too small. sweatdrop
