Hey, so I had a random idea...
This guild has a lot more members than when I first joined, so what I was thinking is that we take a new guild picture for the 21+ banner.
For example, it's summer, so if we all dress up our avis like it's summertime, I can copy and paste all the pictures on a summer-style background so it looks like we're all partying and having fun, or something like that...
Or we could all dress our avis up in a certain color and crop/paste a new group photo that way.
I don't think it's absolutely necessary to do a new photo, but I think a themed group photo would be a fun idea. Plus, I haven't been really active in the guild lately, so this is my way of doing something cool.
What does everyone think?

I like it. Maybe because the guild consists of we "old fogies" who remember more than the youngins' we could dress up our avatars to roughly represent something from the year of our birth?
I mean I heart the 80s, so it might be kinda fun making my little pixelated gal party like it's 1983.
We could do it by decade: 80s stuff is usually in moira's shop, that 70s jacket and pants at H.R. Wesley, hippy stuff for the 60s, the music shirt thingies for the 50s, the 40s might be hard to do... and maybe our Main Man guild Mule could be decked out like a cave man because he's "older than dirt"
The theme could be "We Remember" (as in remembering past decades)
Then again, I tend to gravitate towards matters of nostalgia.

I love the idea... dressing up from the year we are born might be wee bit difficult for me. Don't know if I can find any outfit from the early 60's. 1962 was a smidge before the hippie era and the high point of the "Jackie Kennedy" style period. But I'm sure I can throw something together smile

It doesn't even have to be a decade theme. For example, I take My Avi in a dark outfit, mAOri waHIne's avi (sorry I didn't ask for permission), a free background, some text, and some humor, and voila!!!:  Imagine one of these with everyone!

Sounds like a fun idea to me! I've been thinking that maybe some variety in banner would not be a bad idea.

yeah, we might have to expand to the general decade...
And there is a point where Gaia doesn't really have us covered...
Moreso I was thinking grabbing elements of pop culture, what works?
Early 90s- bright colors, bulky jewelry, grunge (darn, none of our 21+ers are 90s babies. I want that Nirvana feeling... sad )
80s- BIG hair, you could get the one vest and look like Marty McFly from back to the future, or some kind of pretty in pink homage?
The banner was sweet Dafthank
Ooh, maybe we could make it look like our avatars are stuck in a wine bottle with a slogan "Some things only get better with age. Gaia 21+"
