well, as i've mentioned before, i'm going in for knee surgery for a torn acl. this surgery is scheduled to start in less than 6 hours. due to the fact that my computer is upstairs in my bedroom, and i'm going to be spending the first week of recovery on the couch, i'm probably not gonna be on for awhile. and if i do get on, it will only be brief to say hi to everybody. so on that note, i hope everyone is doing well. be safe and i'll talk to you all when i get back online.

Yipes! My friend had her knee fixed a while ago, it took her a long time to get back completely back on her feet, but she was climbing stairs pretty quickly after the surgery.
I hope you feel better soon! Rest up!

well, it's been a boring, completely uneventful break. i spent the last week laying on the couch with my knee propped up on pillows. the pain was moderate, and fairly maintained with the loritabs they prescribed me. unfortunately, i've become used to them and they barely touch the pain now, but it's more bearable. thank you all for your well wishes, and i hope to see some of you around soon.

well, i have my first pysical therapy appointment today. i'm somewhat nervous due to the horror stories i've heard from several people about how hard and sometimes painful therapy is. i know i'll get through this, just like i got through the surgery. but it's still a long road to a full recovery. who'd have thought that hurting your knee would take so long to heal?
