This is a classic, but we don't have one running here that I've noticed! The rules are easy enough, you just build onto the story however you want, only one sentence at a time though. Anything goes!
Just a few things:
* no using funky punctuation to lengthen your sentences!
* no posting immediately after your sentence to add another sentence, that be cheating yar! pirate (you'd be surprised how often I have seen this >,<)
* try not to kill the story off too fast!! I.E. be kind to other people who might want to add on, and beware of sentences/plot twists that are too hard to follow, or like, kill people invovled in the story >,< no "and then he turned out to be a woman and was shot to death in a bar two years later" or "went swinning on Thursday and lost both legs in a shark attack" kind of posts >,< (yes those are actual quotes from one of these...)
Neh, you are all Koijians! This stuff should be no problem!
Anyway here's where our story begins: ~~~
Once upon a time in a bubble floating in a great cosmic sized bathtub, we find our protagonist engaged in a game of tennis.

But then our protagonist also noticed that because the bubble had moved, another island-like bubble had come into view in the distance...

As our protagonist, who was a male and happened to be named Timothy, drew closer, it was revealed that the other bubble held a beautiful mermaid with blonde hair and beautiful sea-green eyes, who seemed to be just as lost as our protagonist, if a bit more lost.
(This is fun! XD)
(EDIT: Named "the protagonist". ;D)

((weee! This is just a non-story-advancement post: Yay New character ! But someone should be brave and name our character. "The Protagonist" has gotta go, lol Someone else then should supply the gender! wink ))

No sooner had Timothy spotted the mermaid then he became so shocked his concentration slipped, and the tennis ball clocked him squarely on the head!

Now Timothy was not the most sturdy little thing, so when the ball made contact, his eyes widened, his face turned red, and his feet slipped straight out from underneath him.

He hit the bottom of the bubble, bouncing slightly from the impact, and sat up to notice the mermaid pointing towards his bubble and giggling.
