So instead of flashbacks, we saw futureflashes or so I saw.

1. why do you think they did that?
2. Who died in that newspaper thingy?
3. Are you glad that a bunch of the Others died?
4. Was this a good cliffhanger/season finale episode?
5. What do you think Kate was feeling when Jack told her he loved her?

1. Shock value - the writers disguised the fact that it was a future until the very end when Kate stepped out of the shadows.

5. Evangeline Lilly did an amazing job conveying a whole bunch of mixed emotions hitting her all at once.

I got no idea why they did that, but it was really confusing. It may sound like a stupid idea but I thought possibly that not all the flashbacks were from the future? (even though that doesn't make sense since flashbacks can't come from the future).

Who was in that coffin? I thought it was his dad before the plane crash.

2. Who died in that newspaper thingy?

If all the flashbacks are in the future, probably someone important from the island that jack cared about, obviously not kate, Juiliette perhaps?

3. Are you glad that a bunch of the Others died?

Yeah, but I know they'll regret not killing Ben as of yet.

4. Was this a good cliffhanger/season finale episode?

It makes me wish as if I could die and come back instantly alive until the next season is showing.

1. why do you think they did that? To hint that they eventually get off the island and not that far in the future either.

1. To get us super super excited and watch the fourth season of course!! Haha, yeah, I think it was another twist to the series!

2. I think it was... Ben.

3. Glad? Well, it certainly makes "Jack's People's" lives a heck of a lot easier! Haha, that'll tell Ben that they're serious I think.

4. I think it was a fabulous end, it left us will sooo many questions so we'll just HAVE to watch the 4th!

5. She looked a tad shocked. He's just like, "Because I love you,". I think it certainly got her thinking. I think he just wanted to get it over with and just tell her because she thought he was in love with Juliet. She probably thought, "I was wrong...Now what do I do?"

2. Even though on lostpedia.com it's been deciphered that the name begins with a J, I think it's Ben.

To confuse the crap out of us! I'm one of the people who's hoping that Jack will turn off the radio after a sudden realization, but I don't think he will. We just have to wait! gonk

I don't think it was Ben, I don't think Ben would leave the island. Same with Locke and Rose/Bernard. It could quite possibly be someone we haven't met yet. The name as it is in the newspaper doesn't match up with any of the current characters.
