My therory is that dharma read up on john locke, you know with those folders they have of all the losties, found out what his father did to him, found his father in real life, had one of their employees crash into him on purpose, then kidnap him onto the island so ben could use him for mind games with locke.

	Sawyer killed him. Locke was SUPPOSED to kill him. He's apparently above the rules. Probably because he blows stuff up.
