I need to find some shoes that can go with a lolita spring/fall dress that doesn't include heels. I an go with a 1 inch heel but I am not sure what I should get. Thanks in advanced.
EDIT: wow, looking back at this post, I don't even know why I posted. Thank you for everything guys!
I usually wear my Dr. Martens 14 eyelet black boots or 8 eyelet oxblood boots. I never knew they would match, I thought they wouldn't lol. Invest in some Docs!!! (even though I wish I had small feet to wear tea party shoes).

I wear flat Doc Martens with my dresses, and they actually look like cute victorian lady boots. 3nodding I works for erololita but for sweet lolita, I cannot really swear it.

Is there a Payless Shoes near you? They tend to have good options for pretty inexpensive.
Try looking for something like these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7423025@N02/555657897/in/set-72157600375887230/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/7423025@N02/555657895/in/set-72157600375887230/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/7423025@N02/555647213/in/set-72157600375887230/

A simple, flat maryjane style shoe works wonderfully for most any variation of Lolita Style. For plain black, and occassionally brown, you can try normal shoe stores near you. For other colors, you can often find them online. I currently have about... 9 pairs, I think, of shoes that I've bought to wear with Lolita. Four black, two brown, two white, and one red. Everything, except for the black pairs, were bought online from cutesyshoes.com and electriqueboutique.com. But then, all but two pairs of my shoes have a more major heel to them. sweatdrop

Lucky for me I have small feet and shop in little kid shoes (4-5.5) it's really easy to find pretty dress shoes there. Boots are nice too. I have a pair of white lace up boots that go about to my knee. Super cute. I suggest just looking through online shoe stores until you find something that catches your eye. Any search for lolita will in my opinion not come up with the right kind.

I myself prefer wearing Rocking Horse shoes to my lolita clothes.. They can almost be found in every colour so they can be used to both sweet lolita and gothic lolita..

I heard that rockinghorse shoes were really lolita-ish. But what do they go with?

I suggest ballet flats/ mary janes... they go with anything and they are good for conventions and don't hurt the feet if you buy the right side
