Yes, I do believe there's life on other planets. I think it's quite pompous and arrogant for humans to assume Earth is the only planet with life, and that we're the most intelligent (which I hardly think is true).
However, it'll be a long time before we're able to travel to and live on other planets, and I highly doubt it'll happen in anyone's lifetime. More like generations from now, which sucks, because when all the cool stuff happens I'm never around to see it. xp
Also, if that planet is life sustainable, and also has life on it already, humans would most likely destroy the native life and take over. xp

just think of how big our own galaxy is! there has to be thousands, of not millions, of planets just like these inhabitable ones. now think of the infinite vastness of our universe. there could very well be an infinate number of inhabitable planets, with creatures in all sorts of evolutional cycles. just thoe thought of it all is mind boggling!
