http://www.zopcuk.eu/en/game.asp?cid=198This is so cool! It's a map of the Middle East and surround areas (Europe, Northern Africa, Asia). As the timeline progresses, you see all the nations who took over the middle east and the extent of their empires.

thats was cool, but i am dissapointed they didnt show many times where the empires coexisted, and they didnt show any time the way they shrank. for instance, the byzantine empire shrank to roughly the area where greece and turkey are now, but still existed alongside a couple of those empires

Lynx Raven Raide thats was cool, but i am dissapointed they didnt show many times where the empires coexisted, and they didnt show any time the way they shrank. for instance, the byzantine empire shrank to roughly the area where greece and turkey are now, but still existed alongside a couple of those empires I think the video was just showing when each empire was at its peak, and most powerful.
