If you can't wavedashing or SHFFL, or if you don't know what they are, chances are you cannot play the game very well. I'm only saying this because I see/know countless people who brag about how good they are, when they don't even know how to edgehog (a simple technique).
So don't brag if you can't use advanced techniques. Of course there are others, but I don't feel a need to list them.
Oh, and post a video of yourself playing if you still feel the need to brag.

Oh, and post a video of yourself playing if you still feel the need to brag. their is so much stuff beyond wavedashing and Shffling that even the good players dont know how out of their leage they really are. i host tournements couple times a month and the people who in put houndreds of hours into praticeing. just because the people here think they can beat their buddies they would stand no chance to a real player. i am glad you seem to know how big the gap is between casual and real players of Smash.

I wouldn't say "real" players. I'd say "playing at a professionally tournament" level. Or something like that.

I figured that if you cant wavedash or SHFFL, you can't do any other more advanced things. So I didn't bother listing them.

WHAT A NOOBZORZ!!!!!![/sarcasm] Just because someone doesn't do a cheap move like edge hogging or just wavedashing doesn't mean they aren't good. Heck, I never do them and I beat everyone, but my friend. I even have 286 trophies( i know! it doesn't mean i have skills by beating computers.) Sure, everyone has their own techniques, but I'm just saying that you don't need those techniques to be good.

And that is why you fail. Oooh... I got a Yoda quote outta that one. rofl Seriously. If you even TRY to go to a tournament with Pro level players. Read this, okay? YOU. WILL. FAIL. Short hops, SHFFL, wavedash, wavelands, dash-dancing, fox-trotting, wavelands to reverse-uairs (my personal favorite), teching, wall tech, are CRUCIAL to advanced level play. If you can't do any of this, you will not get past being able to beat 3 lvl 9's on the computer on a team against. Because human players will have advanced far beyond what you will ever be capable of. Capice?

Please give me examples of your other tactics. Just FYI, wavedashing and SHFFLing are two simple advanced techniques that are used basically as doorways for better combos and tactics. If you don't use these, you just cut off a whole world of tactics.
