So while i was dutifully posting around here, i randomly remember something about my fall 05 show. We did like jackson five stuff. names ofthe songs were
1-I want you back
2-Gimme some lovin
3-You can call me Al
now off the bat you might not think a joke can be made of this, but we're just oh-so-smart like that so something like this started
"Dude I want you back"....... "Only if you gimme some lovin"......... "i will if you call me AL"
one of the many forms of this ^. have any of you ever had jokes with the name of the songs in your shows?

Our field show was Harold and the Purple Crayon, so we say things like:
"Give Harold back his crayon!"
"Harold!"
and for Christmas, we played: Hark, the HAROLD angels sing

our show was "Our Tragic Hearts" and here is our show theme:
We thought it was emo....and we had fun with that for a while. :3

Our show this past year was Andrew Lloyd Weber.
One song we played was Go Go Go Joseph [from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat].
A few weeks into the season a friend and I changed the lyrics and sang it during practice every day. We never got tired of it and it caught on until most of the band was singing it.
"Go go go Joseph, you know what they saaaay.
Go go go Joseph they all know you're *gasp!*"

This year our show was "Fantasmic" from Disney.
But, I like to call it "Orgasmic"

We don't make fun of our shows.
We make fun of other bands who happen to do the same show we did X number of years ago.
Like...
Colors of Jazz ~ "Bleeding Ears"
Visions of Camelot ~ "Going Blind."
This year was the exception, our show was called "Gangsta Jazz" but our school is really paranoid about gang-things so we had to censor the name.
Band this year was kinda "Blegh" so we called it "Punks trying to be G"
