I would really like to see you try to do what we do. It's not as easy as it looks. Really. So go and try it before you judge it. We may not play instruments, but we make you look good.

I find guard so much harder. Sound is easy to match with someone...Right? But, doing routine and if you screw up you make the whole team look bad. I think I put a lot more work in guard then band, just because. We aren't just "girls jumping around on floor in frilly costumes" We put so much more work in it. I actually have 2 guys on are guard team, we aren't just all girls. =/

matching songs with other instruments is not easy. We go home and practice for hours and we have hours of practice after school. I didnt mean to offend any of yall but what i meant is like when ppl think of band they think of ppl playin instruments. I know what yall do isnt easy but should yall b part of the saying "The Band Kids" ?

Why shouldn't they be one of the band kids?
The go to practices; they run with us, they do push-ups, they do marching block with us, they suffer when the temperature gets crazy. They go to contests with you and when you go to contest, isn't thier a color-guard judge?
The way you put it, if you don't go to practice or practice an instrument, you shouldn't be considered part of the band. So drum majors, conductors, and people who already know their music and don't need to practice shouldn't be part of the band?
