So what do y'all think of the new housing items? Personally I love them. There so purdy I cant wait to spruce up my boring house with them :3

I know! I just read the announcement and was like "OMGZ!! eek blaugh rofl cool heart " (Okay, maybe I'm overexaggerating and going overboard with the emoticons...)
Only problem is, if I buy it all there goes all the money for my quests... crying But I rarely play Towns or pay much attention to my house in the first place. >_>
So maybe I'll just cheer madly that the Egyptology Guild is taking over Gaia, one item set at a time!!! *laughs maniacally*

I was like eek OMG!! eek when I saw them, too. xd They're sooo cool... But I'd prefered some clothing items since I don't spent much time in my home...

I know, I am so excited! heart I've already bought a bunch of them... all the scrolls, a Bast statue, the fancy entrance door, a wall tile, a floor tile, a vase and a cup. I'm saving up for some chairs.
The problem is, I can't get into my house. I've never been able to load it up, but it was OK because there's so much else to do around here. But I had to buy the Egyptian items- I just had to! Especially the Bast statue- even though they call it Bastet.^_^' Now I need to find a way to access my house. I probably still won't spend much time in Towns or with housing, but if there is an option to have a house which matches my taste, then why not? blaugh I can resume item quests later.

Fortunately, getting a house is fairly easy. You just go over to the Housing Commission and I think you can get the basic unit for free. If it's not free, it's at least very cheap. Purchasing property in Towns is more expensive (1,000g)- but unnecessary if all you want to do for now is to decorate and share your home with friends.^_^ You can always claim your house and play around with it for a while before investing the money in a Towns lot. Now, actually decorating the home- that seems to be more difficult. I've been here for a couple of years now and I still haven't managed to get my home to work. But others have had more luck- I hope that you do!

Have you noticed that the chairs have Akenaten and Nefetiti on it? They must be Tutankhamen's chairs xd
And the detail on the papyrus on the walls are great! I was sitting here staring at them.

How cool! I thought that I had seen them before... I knew that they were thrones of some sort, so I guess these are modeled after Tutankhamun's throne! Or at least one of them, lol- he probably had several.^_^
I need to get these papyri up on my walls so that I can take a good look at them. If the thrones are based off an actual artifact... maybe the scrolls are, too. biggrin

I'm working on getting the whole set...but when I do, my house will have no floor space. At all.
But it'll be a while before I have to worry about that.
