Did anyone see the life magazine section in the washington post? It was about high school marching band! I saw it and was looking through it and was very happy to see that band geeks finally get noticed! I'm going to take it into school and show everyone! heart

I saw it. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see a flute or piccolo player. Any recognition for band is good, though.

yeah me too..... but I was glad that they at least showed some woodwinds. There were too many tuba players in there though.

Maybe they were looking for some of the more outgoing people. I don't know. At my school the tubas tend to be one of the goofier sections.
