Hm I'm not sure if anyone's posted this tutorial already, but I found it invaluable.
SKIN: a tutorial by navate. It's really good because it's a guide rather than a formula.
A classic anatomy book "Anatomy for the Artist" by Jeno Barcsay is also very useful.
Hope these are useful to someone. :P

Online Videos: Mark Chong's tutorials on youtube

I found some of the points in the "10 minute drawing techniques" pretty interesting.
The videos cover the basics all the way to perspective, folds, and including ways to add some storytelling in art.
I hope it proves to be useful to some people, but it does take a while to watch all of them at once.

See what you can get out of it.

Books: "Vilippu Drawing Manual" by Glenn Vilppu --> Very helpful resource for figure drawing.

www.drawing-tutorials-online.com

Go to the 'free drawing tip of the week' section; scroll down past a goldmine of podcasts until you reach the three perspective tutorials. Those are a GREAT introduction -- it just gets you in the right frame of mind to start thinking about perspective.

And, well, there's a bunch of other cool stuff too.

You don't have to subscribe to see the weekly tutorials, and the guy talks you through things very comprehensively.

I've gotten over it over and over again

Suggestion instead of posemaniac 30 second drawing:

http://www.pixelovely.com/tools/gesture.html

It has a variety of REAL models, and you can choose clothed, non-clothed, etc. I like it a lot better than posemaniacs 30-second drawing (:

Awesome, thanks. I'm going to try that.

I'll also update the first post as soon as I can.

From one thing we learn many lessons, about ourselves and our opponents
In battle, if you you make your opponent flinch, you have already won
A battle can be won with a kind heart instead of cold steel
As the wind we can be gentle but fierce so to am I gentle but strong
The path in front of us is carved not with a blade but a smooth stream flowing through the rocks

I'm a little skeptical about posting this, but since its not completely irrelevant, Ill do it.

Adobe Photoshop CS5

This guide teaches you how to obtain the notorious program by Adobe: Photoshop.

I'm sure you've heard of it, and just as well heard how expensive it is.

So just follow the simple instructions and there you go, pat yourself on the back for saving yourself roughly 250$.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe wind rages and the water flows, my enemies fall before gentle giants

I found a decent site for learning basic anatomy and structures:

http://www.healthline.com/human-body-maps

It allows you to change the camera to get the full turn as well as browse through different organ systems. Check it out if you get bored! biggrin
