Here's where we will list tutorials we find helpful and/or make ourselves, as well as resources for artists. whee Please submit anything you find useful!

For those of you who would like to submit tutorials to the thread, please link to it rather than posting the actual body of the tutorial in the thread. Many artists upload tutorials on their DA accounts, but if you don't have a DA account or your tutorial is very text-heavy, you can post it in your Gaia journal and link to the entry. Since (hopefully!) we'll be putting a lot of tutorials in this thread, it's important to have an easily navigable thread.

Anatomy for Artists: A Complete Guide to Drawing the Human Body by Barrington Barber. It gives you the most in-depth information you need to know about the human body when it comes up to the skeletal structure and muscles.

Bwuh? Maybe I have my journal set to friends only... I'll check and see.

Thanks a bunch for pointing that out to me! I've got a whole bunch of stuff in my journal that's for public use besides that tutorial.

Edit: Okay, I've got it fixed. It should be viewable now. whee

This website is really good for people who are interested in drawing realism:

http://www.portrait-artist.org/

Not only does it cover anatomy, facial structure, and shading, but it also talks about proportion and other important things that everyone should know when drawing. It's an awesome place.

Here are some more tutorials. I hope you guys find them useful. ^_^
