I just got a bouquet of flower from my hubby all the way from Greece.
I was thrilled.
Lovely peach roses, which are my favourite.
Then I read the card.
Roses are Red
Violets are blue
I want a divorce
I've met someone new.
OMG!! still in shock
I haven't told anyone but you guys cuz .... well... OMG!
Wow isn't valentines day just GREAT???
Gonna go curl into a ball and cry now.

Oh my God, Nom-de-Plume, that's terrible! I hate to say I'm sorry because it never help, but I am sorry. What a horrible thing to receive! Not just on Valentine's Day, but on any day in general. sad

That's terrible! Sort of reminds me of what my dad had happen to him on Valentine's day before he met my mom. His then girlfriend had just received all these presents and things from him and then she told him she didn't want to see him any more. cry That's just mean and selfish.

Ya, I cancelled all my appointments today. I just can't deal with life today.
He's due back in may.
He was home for 2 weeks in october and everything seemed fine.
My daughters went to athens for xmas to see him ( I had to work so....)
Ya... I guess after 25 years together one should expect something like this.
I didn't even see it coming.
the way I'm feeling right now though I'm really wishing I'd laced that nice big box of Bernard Calobot's with arsenic.

You shouldn't let the day bother you. Lots of people use Valentine's day as the most romantic day of the year, but I myself HATE that (*I believe if you love someone, then everyday should be used as the most romantic, not one, and highly commercialized one). ......damn though..... 25 years.... I'm sorry I don't have anything really supportive to say.... Usually I hear of relationships lasting from 5 min to a few months... ....but 25 years is a long time... I hope things do work out for you. I know this would be hard too, but don't let this hang onto your life and it hold you down... It will just get worse and fester...

I wouldn't even be able to contemplate an answer to that today. I think I'm still in the shock/denial stage Although I'm aparently not the only one going through this today. the GD is riddled with valentine's teenaged angst. wow I feel so grade 8 girl.
