I posted it on 4815162342.com... here it is!

Raised By Another

quote lost-tv.com
Shot of Claire's eye opening. We hear a baby crying and see Claire looking around. She sits up and she isn't pregnant. She hears the baby cry, gets up and walks into the jungle to find the baby. We see Locke sitting at a table with a lamp, tarot cards, a table runner, and crystals. He's dealing the cards [but we can't see what they are]. We hear the sound of a sword being unsheathed. There is wind and motion in the trees.

CLAIRE: What's happening?

LOCKE: You know what's happening.

CLAIRE: But I don't understand. Why --?

LOCKE: He was your responsibility but you gave him away, Claire. Everyone pays the price now.

[Locke looks up and has one black eye and one white eye. We hear the baby crying and see Claire running through the jungle. She sees a crib and goes to it. It has a mobile with Oceanic airplanes hanging from it. There is shaking and a sound of the what the airplane might have sounded like when it was crashing. The planes on the mobile start spinning around, at least one is broken. There are a bunch of blankets in the crib. Claire starts digging through them and comes to a pool of blood. Her hands are all bloody. She starts screaming. Shot of Claire screaming near the caves. Charlie is trying to calm her down. Michael, Jin, and Sun, Hurley run up.

Episode starts with an eye shot of Claire in the vision. As we all know the eye shots are interesting and a intruiging question.

Claire realizes she no longer is carrying her baby in her stomach.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Locke at the table. Now this is where it starts to get interesting.
Later on in the episode Claire goes to her physic.. now we start seeing some connections.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The table, the rocks, and the lamp, all the same in Claires vision.

Back to the vision.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This is probably the most symbolic part of the vision, the one black and one white eye. There are several questions asked in this specific part.

Q: What could this mean?
A: As we know in Raised By Another, the flashbacks, Claire wants to give her baby up for adoption after being left by Thomas but is stopped by a phsyic who tells her it cannot be raised by another. Now on the island, Claire has no choice but to keep the baby. To Richard Malkin, the phsyic her giving up the baby is good, something that will get rid of all the danger she faces if she does not. This symbolizes the white eye. Claire wanting to give it up for adoption, is bad. We get signs of this too.. the pens mysteriously stop working when she goes to sign the adoption papers. Symbolizing the black eye.

Q: So what does Locke represent?
A: Richard Malkin. For some reason, Locke may remind Claire of Richard, the age maybe anything.

Q: Why is he representing Richard Malkin?
A: As noticed before Locke is sitting at the same table as Richard was when he was giving Claire's reading... the lamp, rocks, little table cloth runner... everything is the same.
LOCKE: He was your responsibility but you gave him away, Claire. Everyone pays the price now.
This quote said by Locke is key in this part. "He was your responsibilty but you gave him away."
Now it's time for a flash forward to Maternity Leave.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This part in Maternity Leave is when Ethan asks Claire if she is sure she wants to give them the baby in their care.
Claire agrees, being drugged of course. And that is where that line Locke says plays in.

Back to the vision.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The crib. Very familar right? This fast forwards again to Maternity Leave, where we see the crib, slighty different in Maternity Leave though with the same Oceanic brand mobile wheel.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Lets not forget this quote from Libby.

LIBBY: Claire, what you saw could be combining experiences of what happened before the crash to the night you were having dreams here on the island.

This is exactly where the mobile comes in, both instances where Claire had visions of the mobile... it was more like flash fowarding to Maternity Leave and then in Maternity Leave she was flashing back to Raised By Another.

Lets not forget... the significance of the episode name: Raised By Another.
Could be changed into Raised by An OTHER.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

NEW Now this part can hold some other symbolic significance. I said before Locke could be representing another side of Richard Malkin.
Q: What is with the cards?
A: If you look closley, the back of them are black and white symbolizing the black and white references we have been getting. Not only that but if Locke is representing Richard Malkin in one way or another. So Locke doesn't seem to be playing with the cards... just looking at them. This could mean he is reading peoples future.

Lets bring up what Claire is wearing.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Like Boone in Deus Ex Machina vision, she is wearing one of those chinese symbols, which could mean something.

Q: Who has the baby?
A: We see in the vision someone is running in the jungle, we don't get a good look at the person though but we know it must be something. This whole vision is based on Claire and her baby and her giving it away. As we know in Maternity Leave the others are the one that took Claire and planned to take her baby. So i think the person symbolizes the others and what kind of people they are. Remember the name of the episode Raised By Another which can be changed into Raised By An Other maybe this is where that name takes place.

Deus Ex Machina

NEW

We see Locke re-building the trebuchet. Boone enters.]

LOCKE: You're late.

BOONE: Late for what?

LOCKE: Late for work.

BOONE: I think I'm done working, John.

LOCKE: I'm sorry, what?

BOONE: It's useless. You can't open that thing up. You say you can but you can't.

LOCKE: No, don't tell me what I can't do.

BOONE: Don't you get it? It's a dead end. You're not getting in.

LOCKE: That's impossible. We didn't find this by accident. We're supposed to...

BOONE: Oh, we're supposed to. We're supposed to find this, right? We're supposed to open it, right? Then tell me something, John, if we're supposed to open it, then why the hell haven't we opened it yet?

LOCKE: The island will send us a sign.

BOONE [sarcastically]: The island will us a sign.

LOCKE: All that's happening now is our faith is being tested - our commitment. But we will open it. The island will show us how.

BOONE: What kind of kind of sign will the island send us? Huh, John?

[We hear the sound of an airplane engine. Locke looks up to see a small, smoking plane looking like it's going to crash.]

LOCKE [pointing]: Did you see that? Boone?

[Boone is looking up at the sky. There's a quick inserted shot of Boone all bloody. Locke hears a metallic sound and looks around to see his mother pointing.

Now this part may be very important for the WHOLE vision.

Boone is talking very sarcastically in the vision and at first tells Locke what he can't do, which is something Locke does NOT like. Boone says he think he is done working... basically saying, the hatch is not going to open and he's going to give up, Locke can do it on his own. I think the island is definitally giving Locke these visions for several reasons. It actually seems like Locke is COMMUNICATING with the island trying to understand it more, hense it is giving Locke the next step to opening up the hatch since he is fustrated and lost and is not sure what to do because he has tried so many times.
Now, before Boone and Locke tried to open the hatch using the trebuchet but fails. Now i noticed when Locke and Boone wind it up all the way to the top music plays kind of like in suspence and slams down. This i think symbolizes Boone falling off the cliff. He reached to the top and fell down, Locke thought it was all wrong and didn't understand how it would get him to open up the hatch at the moment.

During the vision while Boone is chanting Thresea falls up and down the stairs, there is transmission static heard in the background symbolizing the static Boone heard while in the drug plane. Secondly, there was also a loud crashing sound and Locke turned around to see his mother pointing up to the top of the cliff. This means that Boone fell and the island wants to give Locke the picture he needs to get Boone to climb up there.

This probably MOST important is what Locke says in the vision while falling out of his wheelchair. "Don't take it back." This is VERRRRYYYY important. He is talking directly to the island. In this part he is paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair, Locke belives in the power of the island and he knows it gave him this gift and he KNEW Boone had to go up in the plane.

BOONE: Don't you get it? It's a dead end. You're not getting in.

This has a double meaning. Boone says it's a dead end, YOU'RE not getting in... but Boone is. The island is telling Locke he is not getting in the DRUG PLANE however Boone is.
The other meaning of course is the obvious that he is not getting into the hatch.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Locke looks up to what Boone is looking up at which is a beechcraft.
Lets not forget the shirt Boone is wearing at this moment. This is right after their failed attempt to open the hatch which is part of the vision.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The numbers on his shirt represent the numbers 4 and 8. Which can be symbolic in this.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Plane crashing.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This is where the symbolisim comes in. Boone bloody chanting "Thersea falls up the stairs Thresea falls down the stairs." Again, Boone wearing the shirt... meaning something very bad is going to happen.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Locke in his wheelchair which is more symbolisim. Later on in the episode he begins to loose feeling in his legs until Boone is severly injured.

Q: What is the significance of Boone saying Theresea fall up and down the stairs?
A: Symbolism once again. His baby sitter who one day fell down the stairs while baby sitting Boone and broke her neck.
Later on in the episode, Boone is the one to go up something and fall.

Q: What is the significance of Locke sitting at the base of the cliff in his wheelchair?
A: This comes into play later on in the show in the vision Locke has with Mr. Eko, which is explained later on. But right now this is showing danger for Locke meaning if Boone goes up the cliff, he's going to get hurt. But Locke on the other hand was given this amazing gift of the use of his legs back and he is risking loosing them again. The island doesn't want him to loose the use of his legs again.. therefore protecting him by sacraficing Boone. Meaning it's the island who is giving Locke these vibes.

Everybody Hates Hugo

lost-tv.com
A needle lands on a record. Hurley is in the food storage area eating candy, chips, cereal, a steak, and ice cream. Suddenly Jin appears.]

JIN: Hi there, Hurley.

HURLEY: Jin, you're here.

JIN: I sure am.

HURLEY: Dude, you speak English.

JIN: No, you're speaking Korean.

HURELY [speaking Korean with subtitles]: I am?

[Hurley stands and suddenly there is a chicken-mascot-man standing next to Jin.]

HURLEY [subtitled]: What's he doing here?

[We start hearing the countdown "blip" sound.]

JIN: Everything's going to change.

HURLEY [subtitled]: What?

JIN: Everything's going to change. Have a cluckity-cluck-cluck day, Hugo.

[The chicken-mascot-man says "Hurley" in Kate's voice.

This is a more symbolic vision if anything.

We see Hurley here looking around at the food and soon starts eating.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Next we see Jin and the man in the chicken suit, Jin to Hurley is speaking English. And Hurley to Jin is speaking Korean... weird.

Lets not forget this.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Walt on the milk carton with the heading 'Missing.'

Q: What does Hurley eating have to do with anything?
A: Hurley eating represents he thought this hatch would be great without the numbers that are haunting him, he always wanted this being on the island having to eat normal food and he finally has it.

Q: What about Jin saying Hurley is speaking Korean?
A: Notice how it changes from the beginning to the end, at first Hurley is speaking English but then Jin tells Hurley he is speaking Korean, he believes it and starts speaking Korean and Jin speaks english.
This ties into events happening in the hatch at the moment. Hurley believes the hatch situation but then is disbelived when he sees his numbers indented on the hatch. (symbolizing back to Hurley beleving he is speaking english until Jin tells him other wise).

Q: Whats with the guy in the chicken suit?
A: As we know in this episode we learn about Hurley's job, this is just showing his problems at work connecting to the problems he is having now.

Q: What about Walt on the carton?
A: It's simply symbolzing he is missing.

Fire + Water

(Lost-media.com doesn't have many screen caps for this episode so im going to explain this as best as i can, im still working on this one a little bit).

Claire and Charlie's mother sit on the beach telling him he needs to save the baby.

lost-tv.com
CHARLIE [smiling]: Mom? Claire?

MRS. PACE [talking at the same time as Claire]: He's in danger. You have to save him. The baby's in danger. You have to save him. The baby's in terrible danger. He's in danger. You have to save him. He's in danger. You have to save him. Danger. You have to save him. He's in danger.

CLAIRE [talking at the same time at Mrs. Pace]: You have to save the baby. Charlie, only you can save him. The baby. You have to save the baby, Charlie.

[The women keep repeating the message while we hear the sound of the Nigerian plane that Locke heard in his dream. There is a flash of light and a dove flies through the tableau and out to sea. Aaron starts to cry. Suddenly Hurley comes out of the jungle dressed similar to John the Baptist in the Verrocchio painting.]

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

In several of Charlie's visions he has to save the baby himself and no one else is around. Notice in the vision how Claire and Charlie's mom says "Charlie, ONLY YOU can save him."

Q: Why can't anyone else save him, just Charlie?
A: Because, Charlie has always been a protector to Claire and Aaron and the island is telling him you can't start a drug addiction again or else Claire will drift apart from you and she would be alone with the baby and your the one who has always been there for her and now she is in a time of trouble. Danger that can only be fixed by the person she cares most about.

Q: Why is Charlie's mom and Claire dressed as angles?
A: They represent good. They are giving him a request, a message something important he has to follow through.

Question Mark

from lost-tv.com
We see Eko chopping wood, working on his church.]

ANA [off camera at first]: What are you building?

EKO: Hello, Ana.

ANA: Well, hello yourself. So, are you going to tell me? What is it?

EKO: I am building a church.

ANA: Now, why the hell would you want to do that?

EKO: Because I was told to.

ANA: Told to by who?

EKO: I was just told. I think it was in a dream.

ANA: A dream like this one?

[Suddenly blood appears on Ana's chest and the corner of her mouth.]

ANA: You need to help John.

[We see a series of very quick flashes of event's from Eko's life. Then we see Eko in the hatch still holding the axe. Yemi is sitting at the computer.]

EKO: Yemi?

YEMI: Hello, brother.

EKO: Forgive me. I should have listened to you. You were right. I didn't want to do it.

YEMI [shushing Eko]: The work being done in this place is important, Eko. It is more important than anything. And it is in danger. You must help John. He has lost his way. You must make him take you to the question mark.

[We hear the timer alarm start to sound. The timer starts flipping and shows black and red question marks flipping, instead of numbers. Yemi tries to enter the numbers but all the keys have questions marks on them.]

YEMI: John will not want to show you, so you must make him. [Eko turns to leave, but Yemi grabs his arm] Eko, there are many distractions, brother [we see equipment shaking like in an earthquake], but you must move past them. What is done is done. Do you understand?

EKO: Yes, Yemi.

YEMI: And, Eko, bring the axe.

[We see Eko wake up with a start, breathing hard. Charlie wakes up near him.

One of the greatest visions we have seen so far.

First Eko revealing what he is building and Ana Lucia says something interesting.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Ana Lucia says that Mr. Eko needs to help John... this is very vauge at the moment but gets in greater detail as the vision goes on.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Now THIS is key.

The island is telling Eko, giving him vibes he needs to help Locke, he's on the opposite side of him at the moment, this vision is about anticipating what is going to happen in the hatch hence this:

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This is basically a symbol questioning what will happen if the button is not pushed.

Q: Said by Yemi that the work in this place is very important. What does he mean?
A: Notice first of all how Yemi says that the WORK in this place is very important. I take this as the work meaning, what happens everytime the button is pushed, what it does. It keeps the island un noticable... no one could see it. No, this does not make Yemi bad by basically saying he doesn't want them rescued. The island does not want them to be rescued... it wants to keep them there.

Q: Yemi says you must take John to the question mark. What does this do?
A: Ah ha. Well what do they do in the question mark, what is discoverd? The Losties are being watched and observed which only fustrates Locke more when he discovers this. But Eko seems to be fine with that. But here is something. In this hatch they find the log, the printings of everytime the button was pushed. Of course they don't know that until Desmond comes and confirms it.

Q: What does finding the log have to do with the hatch's importance? And what does this have to do with Locke finding his way again?
A: In the season 2 finale, Desmond comes back.. they both lock Eko out of the hatch after Locke annonces he is not going to push the button. Desmond reluctently agrees and views over the log... noticing the system failure. The island was HOPING that if Locke saw this, he would change his mind, but it was too late.

Q: What are with the things shaking in the hatch and making the noise like when the button was not pressed?
A: It was symbolizing what happens when the button is not pressed so Eko would hopefully get an idea.

QUESTION MARK II

lost-tv.com
We see Eko and Locke in the jungle. Eko is poking at the remains of the fire while Locke still sleeps.]

YEMI: Eko.

EKO [smiling]: Yemi.

YEMI [shushing him]: You'll wake John. Come, follow me.

EKO [limpingly follows]: Yemi.

[We see Yemi climbing up the cliff where the plane was perched. Eko follows.]

EKO: Yemi! Yemi.

[At the top Eko looks surprised. We see Yemi sitting in a wheelchair.]

YEMI: Wake up, John.

[We see Eko fall. Locke suddenly wakes up.

Now the island is telling Locke to find, yet some other hatch. Definitally some connections to the Deux Ex Machina vision.

For example this scene.
First and most importantly, the cliff climbing.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Mr. Eko and Boone are BOTH climbing the same cliff. Both not knowing what it is they are looking for. In both instances Locke is standing at the base of the cliff with a leg injury or in incapility to move his legs which is VERY interesting. Not only this but there is connections to the dialouge used in Dues Ex Machina and Question Mark.

LOCKE: It doesn't matter anymore. But, but, this island, it changed me. It made me whole. Now it's trying to take it back and I don't know why. But it wants me to follow what I saw.

LOCKE: You're going to have to climb up there for us and find out.

EKO: Tell me, John, haven't you ever followed a dream?

EKO: You are the one that found this plane, yes?

LOCKE: Yeah. [looking up] It was up there.

EKO: And what made it fall?

LOCKE: Boone. Boone made it fall. Then he died. A sacrifice that the island demanded.

quote Deus Ex Machina
We see Boone climbing up to the plane while Locke looks on. Boone slips.]

LOCKE: Hang on.

LOCKE: Boone? Boone?

BOONE: I'm fine.

LOCKE: Boone, what do you see? Boone?

quote Question Mark
Back on the island, we see Eko climbing up the cliff.]

LOCKE: Eko, be careful.

[Eko loses his grip and almost falls.]

LOCKE: Eko! Eko!

EKO: I'm fine.

[He gets to the top and surveys the landscape around him.]

LOCKE: Eko, what's up there? You see anything?

This part of Question Mark is not part of Lockes vision but VERY important. Notice the bold 'im fine'. Boone and Eko both say the same thing after they both slip and almost fall on the cliff.... VERY interesting. Not to mention the Boone Boone! Eko Eko! Is also repeated.

Now back to the vision. What is intersting about this is Eko is kind of in the same situation Boone was in but in this situation, the vision showed Eko falling off the cliff. Yemi is also in this vision. Many people say it's smokie who is creating this visions but i think it is the island. In this case Eko is representing Locke showing what would happen to him if he would be the one to go up the cliff and not Eko which would be the loss of his legs again.

Q: How do we know Locke would loose the use of his legs again?
A: This screencap tells it all.
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Again we see this wheelchair in Deus Ex Machina too. Both involving cliffs.

Q: Any more connections to Deus Ex Machina?
A: Yes. Both visions are helping Locke, telling him what to do when he is stuck and does not what to do. In both episodes they are looking for a hatch or trying to figure out how to open it.

FURTHER INSTUCTIONS

lost-tv.com
Inside the sweat lodge we see Locke eat some of what's in the bowl and ladle some water onto hot stones. Suddenly someone grabs Locke's shoulder and the camera reveals Boone in the sweat lodge with Locke.]

BOONE: Hi, John. It's good to see you again. [Locke wants to speak, but can't] What's that, John? [Locke mouths/whispers: I'm sorry] Oh, you're sorry. That's okay. I was the sacrifice the island demanded. [Locke mouths something else] Don't worry; you'll speak when you have something worth saying. I'm here to help you find your way again. So you can bring the family back together. Come on, I want to show you something.

[Locke tries to move, but his leg doesn't work. He looks at Boone, panic stricken, and tries to move his leg again.]

BOONE [pointing off camera]: John, you're going to need that.

[We see a wheelchair lying on its side with the wheel spinning. We see trippy flashes of superimposed images of Locke's face. We see the wheel chair rolling along with Locke at the Sydney airport, Boone pushing him.]

BOONE: John, someone in this airport is in serious danger. You are the only one who can save them.

[We see Charlie and Claire cooing over Aaron and Locke points at them.]

BOONE: Not them, they'll be fine -- for a while.

[Locke sees Sayid, Sun and Jin. He points as Jin and Sun argue. Sayid pats Jin's back.]

BOONE: I think Sayid's got it.

[Locke sees Hurley working as an Oceanic counter person. Hurley types the numbers into the computer.]

BOONE: Not Hurley.

[Locke sees Desmond dressed as a pilot walking and laughing with some beautiful flight attendants.]

BOONE: Forget it. He's helping himself.

[Locke sees Kate and Sawyer, very chummy in line. He sees Jack going through a metal detector, and getting wanded by Ben. Locke starts waving his arm frantically.]

BOONE: There's nothing you can do for them. Not yet. First you have to clean up your own mess.

[We can hear "clean up your own mess" being repeated in the background. Boone stares intently into Locke's face, then disappears. Locke is suddenly alone in the airport sitting at the bottom of three escalators. Boone appears at the top.]

BOONE: Come up here, John.

[We see Locke dragging himself up the escalator using his arms. When he gets to the top he puts his hand in a pool of blood and then sees Eko's stick.]

BOONE: Clean it up, John.

[We see that Boone is covered in blood with his shirt torn. He looks as he did in Locke's dream from Deus Ex Machina.]

BOONE: They've got him. You don't have much time.

[Suddenly Locke is back in the sweat lodge. He starts to leave and suddenly we see the image of a snarling polar bear's face. Locke stumbles out of the sweat lodge, frightened.

I noticed it seems like every vision Locke has deals with Boone which i think will lead to greater importance later on. In each of Locke's visions he is stuck and wants the ISLAND to help him. Like he was telling Charlie he needed to talk to the island, that is EXACTLY what he did. And in all of Locke's visions it deals with his wheelchair and parlayis.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

BOONE: I'm here to help you find your way again.

Like in the Eko vision, it was HIS mission for Locke to find his way again but he failed. So this is like the second attempt but this time it's not Eko, it's Boone.

Now i think of this vision like a after they are rescued, what it would be like sort of. But more importantly someone Locke needs to save in order to get his way back.

BOONE: John, someone in this airport is in serious danger. You are the only one who can save them.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This is not the only time we heard the you are the only one who can save him. In Charlie's vision in Fire + Water it was his and his ONLY to save Aaron.

BOONE: There's nothing you can do for them. Not yet. First you have to clean up your own mess.

Q: What does Boone mean by this?
A: He means that there is nothing Locke can do for Jack, Kate, and Sawyer at least not yet.

Q: What does Boone mean when he says clean up your own mess?
A: He means it was Locke mess and fault that Eko is in this position and Locke is in this situation. Locke didn't want to push the button and he succeded in doing so, which lead to serious results concerning Eko.

Wow! Really interesting stuff. I had never noticed so many similarities between Deus Ex Machina and Question Mark.

Prince of Apologies

Alright. This is some great stuff.

I have one thing to add, When John is teaching Walt how to play Backgammon, he holds up the white and the black circles and says, "One is dark, one is light." or something like that.
