Okay...I couldn't resist this. The way this game works (if you don't already know) is someone names an actor or actress. The following poster should try to make their way from that actor(ess) to Kevin Bacon. A good example would be... Shelly Long

Shelly Long was in Money Pit with Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks was in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon!!

Thats a 2 smile

In most all cases you can get to Kevin Bacon Within 6 links smile

Also, have any of you guys ever played the game Jerk? It takes a similar knowledge of film and actors. Among a circle of friends/players, someone will start with an actor. The next player names a movie that actor's been in, and the next, another actor in the movie, and so on.

There's more to it, if you guys want I can write up the rules. smile

I could go the easy way here, but let's try a different route . . .

Daryl Hannah was also in Splash with John Candy;
Candy was in Home Alone with Joe Pesci;
Pesci was in JFK with our boy Kevin Bacon!

And to Gravo, etc: The only additional rule -- best when playing in person so no one cheats and checks IMDB -- is the challenge rule.

When a player is given something that he/she thinks the other player can't name another actor/movie for either, a challenge can be issued. If the challenged player can't name another actor/movie for what he/she gave the challenger, play order is reversed, the challenged player gets a letter, and a new actor is announced. If the challenged player can name something/someone, the challenger gets a letter instead and play resumes.

Of course, first person to get four letters (as in J-E-R-K) is out, and the last remaining player wins!
