Hi all. I am Silbern (for the time being) and I am so very highly interested in and fascinated by all things ancient Egyptian, which was why I sought out the guild aministrators and requested to join. I hope to talk to some of you or all in the future. I don't see the ancient Egyptian deities as myths, but rather real gods and godesses. I believe they can benefit you in many ways or bring you misfortune, depending on your admiration and respect for them. That's where I'm coming from and believe.

Welcome! I know this guild isn't very active but it's still the most active and friendly Egyptology guild out there, if you ask me. 3nodding
I am a follower of the ancient Egyptian religion, and so obviously share you views on the Netjeru(Gods). I'm not sure if you've seen it but I started a thread on Kemetic reconstuctionist religion in the "Morality and Religion" section of ED. I thought you'd be interested and I'd love for more peope to join in the discussion. The more the merrier, after all!

I am also a believe of the ancient Gods, and I do want to be a part of the Kemetic Orphodox faith but at the mean time I just believe.
Mortiferia, why don't you post the link here so we can all see the thread?

There seem to be quite a few of us here who share both an interest in Egyptology for its own sake and a belief in the gods of ancient Egypt, and Their continued relevance today! The Religion subforum was particularly created to allow for discussion of Egyptian religion- both in antiquity and today, and I look forward to hearing about some of your experiences there!

Hi and welcome! I'm new here too, but love the atmosphere here. I like reading about the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, and it makes me sad that they aren't really looked upon like they were before. ): Only by those who are interested in them and their history, and ect. razz
