My sis's bands feild show's name was "winds and percussion in motion" and I think that that is a weird name for a feildshow so I just wanted to know of anyother names that you think are weird.

they always announced our piece and because our 3 parts to our piece (Wicked) didn't really have titles (just Wicked 1, "" 2, ""3) they would announce it like "Union Mine's marching band will be performing Wicked part 1, Wicked part 2, and Wicked part 3!" it was kinda lame.

Haha my band (which is a community band which marches on a different circuit) always comes up with cheesy names.
Last year wasn't too bad, it was simply Honor! based off a Korean folk song.
However the year before it was Gershwination... which was a medley of Gershwin songs. Great music, but jeez... the name could have been better.

King Kong was our name. Yeah, self explanatory and boring, but the drumline captain dressed up in a king kong costume during the second peice which I believe had no snare (his primary in marching season) and danced with and chased a girl dressed up as the girl kong falls in love with. The first time he did it, the bd forgot to tell the band, so everyone had these wierd looks on thier faces as they saw a giant monkey-man run past them.

Some band I knew did "Jesus Christ Superstar" I always found that a bit intriguing. Same with "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" Ours usually have boring names, last years' was "Flight!"
