Just thought of something today as we took our band pictures, what's the most creative thing you've used to tape your flags? A random survey of our flag corp came up with clay/playdough. I only ask because we ran out of flag tape today and used packing tape instead.

yeah, we use contact paper to tape the poles so they look white sometimes..
but if we run out of electrical tape then we use it to tape our flags

Safety pins & shoe laces. Drummers tape, REALLY worn duck tape. REALLY WORN. Normal tape

Extra strength hair spray. No joke and it was right before competition too.

we use electric tape unless our instructor wants something special on it then we'll use colored electric tape. but i've used contact paper before.

we ran out of tape once,right before a show, and we used gum..and then we had to buy a new flag, but the show was amazing!

We've used everything from: fabric tape to velcro to flag tape to duct tape to masking tape to electrical tape to Scotch tape...
And everything in between. ^^
