so i finsihed rewatching season 1 today and i realized when hurley was walking through the jungle with kate he was saying the numbers and she said did you say something and he said no, and she said i thought i heard you say 23, and he was like why does that number mean something to you, and she said that the man in australia turned her in for 23,000 dollars! or australian money whatever, and then i remembered back in the episdoe when boone and locke found the plane locke told him he had been paralyzed for 4 months or years or something. so maybe there are other references between the main characters that have a link to those numbers. right? 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 ,42 has anyone else noticed one of the main characters like jack or sayid maybe mention some reference to something bad with one of those numbers?
