Yes it is. Tomorrow is an illusion and you know it. I was on a trip and I called my grandmother who means so much to me. I said "Hey Grandma, we'll swing by your house tomorrow on the way back ok?" My grandmother was sick and had trouble breathing. She died. We heard about it in the morning and I thougt "That coulda been me" You never know when you might die so there really is no tomorrow. Tomorrow is just the figment of our imagination that we make up to believe we will live another day.

This is a very deep and meaningful topic, but what do you feel is the subject of discussion and debate here? The carpe-diem lifestyle? Making the most of your time? Living on the edge?
This is an important subject for me, please clarify.

Has anyone ever seen "Crash" or "The World According to Garp?" Those are some good exsamples of the stuff i'm talkin' about. Say you famous and got a whole buncha things scheduled for "Tomorrow" You have speech w/ croud. Any one who was good at getting past secuirety in that croud could kill you. Think about stuff like that I guess, or other proof of my therie

Think about stuff like that I guess, or other proof of my therie I understand what you mean. I always calculate the risks of what I do, because dying is inevitable, and therefore is to be expected. I get into the car every morning knowing that there is a possibility that I could die. I tell my mother I love her before I leave and before I go to sleep, because I know there is a chance that that will be the last thing I ever say to her. It makes you think more carefully about what you do and the things you say, if you keep in mind the prospect that you may never have the chance to rectify yourself. I think the people who keep death in mind at all times are liable to be better people overall.

I think the people who keep death in mind at all times are liable to be better people overall. I think it mightof been Gandhi who said "Life becomes livable only to the extent that death is treated as a friend, never as an enemy." One time, i forgot to say goodbye to my mother before i left for a trip (That just happens to be the same trip i lost my grandma at) and we were crossing a log on a hike the log was fifty feet over a river. I nerely fell, but I guess it wasn't my time. Life is like a timebomb that you never know when it my explode. Guido, the old man on my streetcorner that tries to make a living selling coffee from a booth says hello and converses with every person who stops or buys from him, when i asked him why he said, "I meh neva get ta talk ta that person in my life again. Though I dant know these strangas, I could be great freinds of mine. But, when they go to cross the street, they could get hit by a car, have a heart attack, so, i talk to them real frendly and nice, kuz dat could be the last words they eva heah."

I think Gahndi had it best, that we shouldn't fear death simply because it may be looming around the corner. Live your life fully and have no regrets. If you do have regrets, pause and take the time to realize that there's nothing you can do about them and move on. We shouldn't spend every waking moment paralyzed by fear, worried that a bogeyman lurks just out of sight, ready to take us down. What's the point of living if you don't feel alive?
With that in mind, I have a few things I think every person should experience, and experience soon just in case they don't get the chance to:
1. Skydive. Seriously. 2. Have a metaphysical conversation with intelligent people. 3. Get lost in the eyes of a romantic interest.
There's probably more, but I'm late to class and I can't remember very well.

I died once. Sometimes I feel like I haven't come back to life. I only feel like I exist now.

It is the most exhilerating experience a person can have, and the saddest as well.

I've done all those things. 3nodding I enjoy the last two. Skydiving...not so much. gonk Taking the thread idea a step further...I just realized today that nothing belongs to anybody. The only thing I own is my body.

To :: Everyone YEP! I like the "only own me" part (please don't say anything like "i died once" it just is untrue. [sorry i don't meen to be mean] heh, just true to life stuff is good) EVERYONE NEEDS TO DO AT LEAST ONE SPORT it don't matter what you do, or how long you do it THE sence of TEAMWORK is AWESOME!!! Do an instrument if your up to the challenge I WUV my wittle violin that costed 3,250 fudging dollars (the bow was 275, case 150) But I paid that much because I love violin and I like to be able to be really good at something in my lifetime SO violin was good for me . . . you should really figure out WHO you are before you do anything though . . . Make sure there is at least one other person in the world who understands in you and is "The wind beneith your wings" before you die (be sure to love and support them as much as they do you) Of course loving someone is a half-to-do! It doesn't matter if you get married. just to know you have a partner in this mostly very cold world! So Get out there and go for the one you love.
All this before you die? Yes. Of course.

maybe tommorow is a lie. but id much rather expect to wake up the next day then spend every waking moment expecting to die
and if i am proven wrong and i do die well,im either not going to be round to care or i will be round,so there will be a "tommorow"
