We'll need to get someone to design the clothes for us, I am not good with Paint but I am sure there is somebody creative enough in our Guild to help us.

I think the outfits we would need would be a Pharaoh (especially the headdress and Linen kilt) and Queen (long linen dresses).

Whe somebody designs the outfits and think of an appropriate price then I will be more then happy to start the petition, maybe add a link there for this Guild to get it noticed whee

We will need to find some pixel artists, give them some examples of what we are looking for and get them to design it for us.

I know that I would love to see some Egyptian styled jewelry. Last year I dressed up as a mummy for Halloween and had a really tough time trying to build up a sufficient amount of "amulets" to warrent my safety in the afterlife! Since then, I've really taken an interest in Gaian jewelry... but I've come to find that it's a difficult thing trying to reproduce details on such a tiny scale... you just don't have that many pixels to work with. ^_^'

Still, it would be nice to have a broadcollar- that could probably be done fairly well, and if we're going to request the king's nemes then we really ought to see a version of the queen's vulture headdress, too. Some lovely cobra armlets would be nice- and you could have alternate versions of that item as an arm band, a bracelet, or mounted on the forehead. You could probably throw in a necklace and a belt version, too, though those would be less historically accurate. I bet that would go over well with all Gaians, actually- not just us egyptophiles. And really, I've been wondering why we don't have more earrings- even some simple hoops would complement that queen's dress which Jade mentioned. The dress itself could come in various patterns: the pure white, the priestess' feather print, or a festival floral pattern. Accessorize with a beaded net dress overlay.

I wish I had the computer skills to create any of these patterns, but perhaps we will gain a member who's a little more talented. In the meantime, we can brainstorm. I bet we can come up with some really inspiring ideas! heart

This is really good! Very well done with the use of Gaia items!

Pretty soon, when I have some time, I will start finding people who are good at using pixels and I will ask them to make Egyptians items on avatars so we can use them for a petition. So everyone, start finding some pictures (on Google or scan them from books) and I will save them.

I know they have, but we need pictures of them in order for others to convert them into Gaia items.

We actually shoul start a petition for Egyptian items.... we could have things such as: headdresses, the staffs, fans, clothing, yatta-yatta-yatta. That's a really really good idea!!!! 3nodding eek
