no teh seniors have to go and leave our band a mess just as it happened 2 years ago!! cry ... yeh, when the seniors left that year that was a little more than half the band gone. last year it was the drum captain, this year it'll be the top trumpet player, top sax player, and the top baritone player, well lo-brass player at that.

Definately. I teared up slightly at my last competition, but REALLY teared up at the banquet. I was the drum major this past season and the band was amazing this year. So I will definately miss them. crying

hell yes I'm going to miss them. My best friend who is a junior asked me to become a super senior (a second year senior) so I could stay with him. I don't even what to think about ourlast concert. We play this one song every year, my sophmore year I hated it, last year I loved it and this year I'm going to be crying. I'm coming back next year to be a band boster. I can't leave these guys I love them too much.

I'm going to miss all my lurvers in the band (I lost count in sophmore year!) I didn't think I would cry at Graduation, but I don't want to leave my fellow band geeks...I am definately coming back for band camp next year though, I need to train a new tenor sax player (and the BD loves me!) You guys already had your band banquets? Ours isn't until May...

I'm a freshman XD but when we did a band tradition called 'Senior Pullout' where we formally say goodbye to the seniors, I kept crying and I don't know why... my senior section leaders were really nice to me when it was marching season, though.

I can't wait to escape from my ******** second chair.

I hated marching band. My parents are trying to make me do it in college, but I'm sure as hell that I don't want to.

I had to do marching orientation the other day for the incoming froshman and yeah . . . I won the drill down and then I got all sad and started crying later that night. I just hate the fact that I can no longer perform with them like I once did . . . that band means a lot to me and I hate seeing them do anything without me. It's a reason I'm doing drum corps though. I hate giving up the chance to be a part of something like band. . . . it's just not something I enjoy thinking about. Band has so much to offer . . . you gain a sort of family through band and I'm losing that family.

i'm only a junior this year, but i'm already getting all emotional about losing our seniors.
they were the personality of our band and it's just not going to be the same next year. neutral
