Ties remind me of Avril Lavigne,so I prefer not wear them since I get accused of trying to ber or "be hardcore/punk" when I have one on.

I like ties when they are worn as they were meant to be worn.
I hate when people wear them with a random shirt. That's so freakin' tacky.
I also hate when people can't tie them correctly.
It's either full Windsor or no tie.

I hate when people wear them with a random shirt. That's so freakin' tacky. My opinion exactly. Ties look great when worn with a collared, button-up dress shirt. They make you look professional, all-together. That's why people have been wearing them for over a hundred years. Ties look horrible when worn with a t-shirt or sleeveless shirt. They make you look like an a*****e, a cheap a*****e. Ever since 2004, the mallcore have been wearing red ties with black MCR or Green Day t-shirts. It annoys me to no end.

As above. I have been known to wear a tie and dress shirt instead of a dress to formal occasions. It's cool and unique.

Ties are cool I guess, if you're wearing them properly.
With a suit or with a uniform.
Wearing them casually, is fine.
I don't really see how what you wear matters to much.
