what if yaoi and shounen ai never existed what would you do? I would probably try to invent yaoi/shounen ai so I wont go crazy afterwards!!!!!

If there was no such thing as yaoi, you wouldn't know, because there'd be no such thing, so you wouldn't miss it, so it wouldn't matter! Wow!

I wouldn't think anything about it. If it never existed, I wouldn't know of it so I couldn't miss it. But hopefully someone would think of an idea as crazy as gay cartoons. :3

I'm not going to lie -- I probably wouldn't care. I wouldn't know anything about it so there would be nothing to be curious about and nothing to explore. I can see why it would be different for a homosexual boy, but I'm a straight girl so that probably would never cross my mind.

Well before I discovered it (that is yaoi/shounen-ai; not homosexuality) existed I used to make slashy stuff up using characters from TV shows and stuff... So I guess I'd just think I was even weirder than I do right now... Lol.

Well, since I wouldn't know it existed, I probably wouldn't feel sad or affected by its non-existence.
But since movies like Brokeback Mountain would still exist, I'd probably have some moments where I'd think "Oh, I wish there were anime about stuff like that....".
