Hiya
I've been watching alot of programmes about him recently and he is a really lucky man! I mean who can walk over to an area and find something like a tomb, statue etc.
He has discovered alot of monuments in his life time, he opened the entrance to Abu Simbel, used his strength and skills to move the Young Menmon and repair temples. He even found the first tomb in the Valley of the Kings (somebody remind me who's temple it was, I have a feeling it's Ramses II)
What are your views on Belzoni? He is one of my favourite Egyptologist, Chapollion is also a great Egyptologist especially decoding the hieroglyphics, but he isn't a very nice man in general.
