An idea for a thread-building thread that came out of nowhere :3
Basically, this is a thread for people to post what their ideas for RP threads, or the 'strains' of the threads (sorry, lame pun, but it was the best name I could think of for the place xD). Post whatever nonsense or structure for a RP that you may have, and others will comment and help it out a bit, if it needs it that is. Current Strains: -Kawaii_Killer's 'Silent Hill' RP -Rose's Nightmare RP-Thingeh -Sylkis's Roleplay about a Count

I have an idea, but it would be best if I ran it, since it's *MY* story.
Basically, an evil doctor makes half-demons and tries to create the perfect being.

I have every intention of making a roleplay based on Poison by Chris Wooding, but I just wanted to know how many people have actually read the book. If it turns out people have, I won't have to look for too many in-depth summaries. It doesn't matter much either way, since it'll be based in the book's future where only one original character would be used while the rest would be made-up, but I still figured I'd ask.

I haven't read it, but I've heard some small tidbits about it. I will get around to reading it at some point, but not with the dang projects my teachers are pulling outta nowhere -_-...

Don't know what it is, but if you gave me basic plot I could try.

It really is a good book. =) Like a dark fairy tale.
I'm sorta worried about spoiling it, though. The summary I plan to make will have details about what happened at the end of the book- The plot line I'm thinking of can't go without mentioning the events. I'm not sure if that's gonna ruin it for others who might want to read it, though..

Basically it comes down to this. If the book did indeed inspire you to create something of a masterpiece, then I'd say that there'd be no problem in this at all. Let no one get in your way on this.

Mhm. =) Though I doubt it's going to be even close to a masterpiece, I might as well make it. I'll do my best to give out only what's necessary, but everyone will just have to deal with the spoilers, I suppose. Ah, I'm all psyched now. Hopefully I'll be able to get everything up after school tomorrow. Obrigada.

Hmm...well, I was thinking of starting something based on the movie 'Silent Hill'(the first game, basically). I dunno if anyone's watched it, and if not many have, I'll basically just describe what I'm working on; it's based on the storylines, but not too much where it can automatically be commented on.

*sigh* Apparently, I don't know what I'm doing. (This break isn't working either. I was only relpying to rps! T-T)
Okay, basically, I was looking around Barton Town *gasp!* I know. But the word "nightmare" got stuck in my head. So I got everything all planned out in a handy word document. And then Hawke was like, do this and this, and it'll be better. So... I guess I will. I'm going to put more info about it now though.
~x~ A normal teen, plagued by a nightmare. The likes of which they've never dreamed before. The dream comes once a week in the beginning. Details are fuzzy. All they know for certain is that they are scared out of their wits every time they wake up.
After a month, another person starts to dream. They are the same as the other person's. The first person starts to have the dream more often, more and more people getting sucked into it. Each morning, they awaken, bathed in sweat and fearing a thing they cannot name.
Then comes the day when none of the dreamers awaken. Parents knock on doors, yell that they'll be late for school, and wonder why they will not awaken, though their pulse is steady and their breathing deep.
Stuck in this surreal dream world filled to brimming with their greatest fears, they must find a way to awaken themselves. Will they be able to face their fears and wake up? Or will they break and suffer in the dream for eternity? ~x~
Sorry for taking up so much room in your thread Hawke. That's all I have. If I need more, please let me know. Hawke suggests coressponding events. I figured that can't actually happen, but I can change it if that sounds better. Umm... yeah. Help is appreciated. nonsensicalbabble>
