okay, so i am sure that most of you know what MFing is. We all do it. We do it cause we have to. A few days ago, a friend of mine came to me and kept complaing and complaining about how he just cant find anything. No matter how much he tries, he cant find a damn thing. At that time, I was actually doing very well, finding a bunch of stuff. Okay, well anyway, in the last few days, the tides have completely turned. I have lvled my asn from 87 to 89 without finding one good item, while all my friends are enjoying a sudden prosperity. Anyone else experience this kinda thing?
(P.S. Seeing as how I am in a rut myself, im gonna put off Mfing, and spend most of my time here biggrin )

Um I actuall dont know what mfing is.... sweatdrop . I never find any good Items.

You will get lots of uniques and such, but nothing ever spectacular. Lots of elite unique items cannot drop from Meph, which is why a lot of people tend to do Pindle runs

No matter what kind of drops you get, keep in mind: IT IS ALL LUCK.
People love to argue about all the superstitions of mf, but think about it a second... It's not like blizzard put some complex code in the game to make it so you find bad stuff certain days of the week/times of the day/on a certain char/every x runs. Or whatever.
Edit: Ok a wrote 2 paragraphs of crap, but I realized I can sum it all up by saying 3 words: It's all luck.
Just mf a LOT, and you are bound to find something good. In my 4 years of playing d2, I've found countless shakos/skullders/occys/travs/gazes/storms/shafts/gheeds/facets, and even a few valors. On the other hand, I've mephed for 6 hours straight before and found pure s**t.
And also, since this pertains to the topic, I found a wf last week off pindle. smile
I know they're worth crap, and bowzons blow a**, but it's still fun finding them. If this was .09 I would be rich ^_^

why isnt a WF so good anymore? not everyone has a hydra bow superior ethereal 6 socketed with a Botd..... uhh ore at least a hell bow with botd, or even a zod and vex to make that runeword

steno why isnt a WF so good anymore? not everyone has a hydra bow superior ethereal 6 socketed with a Botd..... uhh ore at least a hell bow with botd, or even a zod and vex to make that runeword actually, WF > BotD Hydra. Its not that they are not that good, its just that bowazons aint that good. Lets just say that there are a LOT more windforces then there are bowazons looking for windforces

I find such crap, 3 hours of pindle and only got the lacerater, 3 hours of meph and best I got was a +3 warmth ormus....
