Okay, well Desmond came back on the boat. He said that he tried to leave the island but it kept on bringing him back.
So in the meantime Michael brings Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Hurley with him to the others. Jack and Sayid know what Michael did. Jack doesn't tell anyone though. So Sayid makes up a plan that he will use Desmonds boat to sail around the island and start a signal fire to Jack knows that he is there. So Sun and Jin come with Sayid. Sayid spots an interesting 4 toe statue on their way there. And goes into the others place and finds out that they are not there.
Desmond talks to Jack about his boat and stuff. His flashbacks are like this- he meets Charles Widmore who is his girlfriends father and he says that he cannot see Penny anymore and that she is getting married. Desmond wrote to Penny and Charles her father kept them all. Desmond wants to win a race around the world but he doesn't have a boat. So he goes into a shop and Libby offers him a boat which was her husband David's boat. And he named it after Libby so the boat is called Elizabeth. Desmond takes the boat and he goes to the stadium to run and Penny finds him there and says she is getting married. Desmond sails his boat when he gets into a storm and because of the storm it brings him to the island. A man named Kelvin finds him on the island ((who happends to be that guy in Sayid's flashback)). And he brings him into the hatch and he makes him stay down there and push the button. Kelvin fools Desmond by saying that there is a sickness and that Desmond can't go outside but Kelvin does by wearing a suit. Kelvin also mentions this guy Radinski who was his button pushing partner and Radinski killed himself. So Kelvin says that him and Radinski started painting a mural on the blast door which happends to be the same one that Locke saw in Lockdown. Kelvin is in the hatch and he is holding a key above the place where he could put it in and he says if you put the key in that the whole hatch goes away and that the incident was electromagnetism and everytime the button is pushed it discharges the electromagnetic field or something like that. So Desmond follows Kelvin out of the hatch when he realizes Kelvin's suit has a tear in it, so Kelvin goes out to this place where Desmond's boat is. Kelvin was planning to leave the island and he was repairing the boat with out Desmond knowing and fooled him by saying that there was a sickness. So Desmond gets mad and starts pushing him around and pushes him into the rocks and accidently kills Kelvin. Desmond runs back into the hatch to push the button but it was already down to zero. The computer says system failure and everything starts moving in the hatch. Desmond enters in the numbers and tries to make it go through then it finally did. Desmond picks up this book that Penny wanted him to read, a letter falls out of it that Penny wrote and she was saying that she loves Desmond.
Back on the island, Eko is in the hatch pushing the button and Locke comes in and tells him not to. Locke gets mad and almost smashes the computer because he does not want Eko to push the button. Eko manages to put in the numbers then kicks out Locke.
Charlie finds Locke and tells him that Desmond is back so Locke talks to Desmond and we find out the answer to the question that Desmond had once asked Locke, "What did one snowman say to the other?" and Desmond said the answer is, "Smells like carrots."
Locke says that he found another hatch and it was saying the whole thing was an experiment. So Desmond believes that the button does nothing too.
So they both go in the hatch and lock Eko out by doing a lockdown.
Meanwhile, Jack, Hurley, Michael, Kate, and Sawyer are still walking and Kate and Sawyer spot too others the shoot at them and Sawyer killed one. And apparently there was this bird that says Hurley's name. So they find the location of the notebooks that were talked about in the episode Question Mark which ended up being in the middle of the jungle. The others shoot these things at them and they hit Kate, Jack and Sawyer and the others take them.
They bring them all to a location that has a dock. A boat comes up with Henry inside and he acts like all Mr. Commando. So Kate, Jack, Sawyer, and Hurley are all tied up and Kate says that Zeke's beard is fake so he takes it off. And his name is Tom and Miss. Klughs name is Bea. So Bea says Hurley can go free and Henry says that the rest are comming with them. And Henry says that Michael can have the boat and Walt is inside the boat so apparently they escaped the island.
Meanwhile at the hatch Eko and Charlie find dynamite to blow open the blast door and it doesn't work. Desmond looks at these papers that were printed out in the pearl hatch. And it was a log of when the button was pushed.
Desmond looks at the date that the plane crashed which was September 22, 2004. And on the log it said system failure so because Desmond didn't push the button in time once, the plane crashed. So Desmond says that the button needs to be pressed and Locke argues and smashes the computer. Desmond ends the lockdown and Eko is hurt. Charlie gets Eko up and Locke watches as the timer goes to zero and everything magnetic is going towards them. Eko pushes Charlie out of the way and Desmond goes and gets the key to end the hatch like Kelvin said. Locke tells Eko that he was wrong. Desmond turns the key and theres this bright light all over the island but then it goes away. Claire her baby and Bernard are at the beach when the quarintene door from the hatch lands in front of them.
So Charlie comes back and realizes Eko and Locke are not back yet. And he kisses Claire.
So we don't know what happend to Locke, Eko, and Desmond.

Yeah, I got the first bit but the second bit is confusing! I saw about desmonds release and the boat coming back and some of his vision. And the bit where they shoot one of the others. Thanks!
