I think it would cool if you held contests, in the future. Not sure about what, because I know that a lot of JCV/JTHM fans dont appreciate fanfictions, nor do some of them like the fanart some kids do. But contests might be fun... ^ that isnt a generalization, sorry if it sounded like one. I've just noticed that a lot of people flame JTHM fics.... rofl But yeah, mhmmmmm.

I just want to say right now that I am stating my opinion and not trying to put words in people's mouth, so to speak.
That actually does not sound like a bad idea. I would like that if this guild held some fanfics or some art contest.
I would not mind atleast if they were true to the character and not fake or un-character like so to speak.

Yeah, the thing about fanfics; they're good if the characters are in character, but anyone who writes a JTHM romance or slash obviously doesn't get the picture. I've found a few good ones on fanfiction.net, but most of them are retarded.
I do like the idea of contests, however.
Maybe an art contest of how closely you can draw to Jhonen's style? I dunno.

I have drawn a good depiction of Nny in a Jason mask for Halloween that was pretty good and I beleive a Mr. Eff in a different style though.
Just saying...
You are right, though. All of the fanfics I have read on JTHM romance are not that great.
One of the best ones that I have read only got into "character" by adding bits of scenes and actions done so in the comic or one part when Nny gets nervous around Devi before he tried to kill her.

I think the most interesting fanfic I read was a crossover with Invader Zim. It had Dib going insane and killing his family, then running away and using the alias Johnny C.
Also, as far as the art contest idea goes, it would be really easy for someone to just drag something off the internet that isn't theirs, so maybe their avatar should be in it too. I dunno.

Or instead they could put their own signature on it that has their username so we know it wasn't fake.

There is no online comic. Trust me, Ive LOOKED! Everywhere! On different servers, on different search engines and Ive even gone onto sites like Yahoo Japan and such. I cannot find JTHM, IFS, FB or Squee. Someone really needs to upload stuff to make people happy. Gomennasai. ( bows and give joo a Cherry Ice Sucky.)
