This is where the librarian's primary work is. She may have books to be shelved, but this is where she checks books out to others.

If a student wishes for employment (five quid a school year), they must speak with the head librarian for the position.

Cwen entered the library cautiously so not to disturb the austere silence of the place. There was no one at the librarian's desk, but Cwen knew that people could be very quiet in the library. LIbraries were areas of quiet study anyway. Cwen looked at the list of library sections. She would walk throught tmeo and glance at the book offerings. She had already gotten her books for class, but she wanted to know where they were in the library if she ever came around.

Cwen had by now taken a brief look at the whole library in general and had spotted the class books as well. If it indeed was quiet, Cwen could do her studying the library... and if she could find a secretive area, one that was somewhat hidden, she could conduct experiments there... However, feeling the lull of sleep and curious at the lack of students, Cwen headed back toward the dorm rooms.

Beau bolted into the library, lungs heaving as he panted, gasping for air. The ghosts were after him! He needed some sort of book...a spell book ....grimoire...or maybe a book on the history of the University! Yes! It would tell him about everyone who had died there, everyone who had lost a life. Then he could identify who the ghost was and commune with them. He could find out a way to speak to them. Leaning against the doorframe, he peered over his shoulder and down the hallway. So far everything seemed okay. He breathed a sigh of relief until he saw something white and fluttery out of the corner of his eye. Oh dear. Screaming once more, he slammed the door shut behind him unaware that it had only been a curtain and that he was acting like a big sissy girl.

What else was new.

He leaned back against the door, arms outstretched, fingers spread against the solid wood...the solid wood which any ghostly hand could reach through and grab his heart and oh dear God just rip it right out of his chest. Hands moved to his mouth, covering it as a girly little squeal escaped. His knee bent upwards, attempting to get into the fetal position while standing. After practically losing his balance, his eyes wide and roaming all over the library, he darted off to the section labeled history. This is where he would begin his search for what these ghosts wanted before they ate his soul. Or his face.

Kat let herself into the library. The quiet serenity of libraries always astounded her. Alsthough it did seem a bit too quiet for class sign ups. Then again, it was probably rather early. She hadn't bothered to look at the clock as she left and she was, as a rule, an early riser. How loud her footsteps and even her breathin sounded in the heavy silence! She strolled almost cautiously towards the librarian's desk, and seeing no one sitting in the chair, leaned over and peered at the dark space under the desk. No one was there. Hm. The silly librarian seemed no where to be found. It truly wouldn't have suprised her to find the qwerky man curled up aslepp under the desk. Maybe she would stumble upon him later. Sah wondered, with slight apprehension if she was allowed in the library thios early. Well, it couldn't hurt to take a look around. Noting the marked bookshelves she decided to start with literature, then move on to roam the shelves with historic books.

Amadeus entered the library, head down, his hair-fall pony-tail bobbing behind him. It was immediately evident that there was no-one present yet to oversee or participate in class sign-ups, so he elected to waste time by pretending tto be interested in the shelves nearest to the Librarian's desk.

((Should I move Beau out of his section, or is someone going to stumble across him freaking out in wherever I left him?))
