I really want to buy a dress off e-bay, but what I've heard from some people that the sellers are dodgy. Has anyone ever bought a dress? If so which seller?
I was think about buying from
All for you
Their feedback is pretty good whee

I think Fan Plus Friend is the best of those types of ebay sellers. The clothes are pretty good quality, and they are reliable. Tssy2005 and Yinyincs (not as good as Tssy2005) are alright, but I'd advise you to stay away from Honestdragonchina. From my experience, their work is shoddy and awful.

thats a lot of money to buy something so cheep looking...i could make it for a lot less...i like Honest Dragon better, roughly the same price, and it dosnt look as cheep when you get the final product, rather than using cotten, they use nice fabrics as well, rather than try to make something out of coten that should be in velvet..

O.o i dont see how you can say that, my dresses all came out perfectly apart from one which was only in the wrong color...and im rather hard to please because i'm a seamstress myself...just lazy...with very little room to sew in...but the dress that was incorrect was replaced imediatly and it was also great!

I've ordered several custom dresses from that seller, and they've all arrived with everything advertised and on time.

Seems as though these Honest Dragon folks just didn't like you. How unfair!

I've seen a lot of complaints about HDC and Momo's, actually.
Mostly issues in that the garments received are made with crappy materials or don't fit right. I actually own a Momo's outfit that I bought from a friend. The skirt is workable, but the top was a nightmare.

I'd really recommend buying from Fanplus Friend, In the Starlight or Anna House rather than any of the eBay sellers, since they use their own photos and what you get is exactly what you see on the site, down to the last detail.

I have an HDC dress and it's really not bad.

The fabric isn't the best, but I really believe I got my money's worth.

It fits well and is flattering, and is everything that was advertised. They even gave me a free petticoat (hoop skirt style). It's not a great petti, but the thought was nice.

It wasn't exactly like the photo, but it was nice enough that it didn't matter.User Image

I wouldn't really recommend any of the ebay shops that sell Lolita clothes because you have a 1/100 chance that you get a good garment made from quality fabric. I have seen that most people have had problems with Momos, Better Day, and Honest Dragon. Also they steal images from brand and claim it as there own when it's not. They say that it's the item their going to send you but their product is completely different. If you see a picture that looks like it came from a brand site ask the seller to provide a picture of their own item. If they refuse then they have really shady business practices and stay away from them. Most good reviews get outweighed by the negative pretty bad. Here are some feedbacks people have about their experiences with such stores from EGL LJ and its all collected there of several shops:
