A rumor is flying around that developers are hating the cost of making games for the PS3, so they're all looking towards the Wii. Also the PS3 itself is $600, which only big gamers are going to buy.
Sony has also stated, "The PS3 will do for Blu-Ray what the PSP is doing for the UMD."...That's not good. According to sales, less and less people are buying UMD videos for the PSP and film producers (I.E. 20th Century Fox, Columbia Tristar, Universal) are not releasing their movies on UMD because of the bad sales. The only reason people will buy the PS3 is because the system has the word, "PlayStation" on it.
Well, I don't know this for certain, but this is my guess.
