I'm pretty sure that Nightseer is a singular work by Laurell K. Hamilton. The latest in the Anita Blake series is Cerulean Sins, but the newest will be coming out sometime in the next few months. I can't remember exact dates at the moment. The next one for Anita Blake is Incubus Dreams.

Nightseer is a stand alone novel. That is not to say, LKH might not write something more in the future to go with it, but as of now, I have never heard of anything relating to Nightseer.

If she writes a sequel to Nightseer after writing all those books for Merry Gentry and Anita Blake it just won't match the first one. It's a pity really considering the not-so-ending that she left Nightseer at.

Nightseer was LKHs first printed book(before Guilty Pleasures) and it didn't do so well. It went out of print and then the AB books became huge and used copies started selling for over $100, so the rights were negotiated and it was put back into print with a new cover(they're on the 3rd variation that I've seen now)

I read in an interview with LKH in Chronicle last year where she said(in repsonse to the questions of wether or not we will ever see a sequel) that even now the numbers for Nightseer simply aren't good enough to warrant a sequel.

It was originally planned to be trilogy, I believe,

Honestly, I really enjoyed Nightseer's plot and characters, but it's rather poorly written when compared to her other early work work sweatdrop

I have never heard whether the Star Trek story is any good or not. I have never even seen a copy of it. Does anyone know if it is any good?

I was thinking about this this morning(don't ask why...strange "I've just awoken thoughts"), but there is one more book. LKH penned a Ravenloft novel.

I read it back when I played Ravenloft, but I can't really remember it....it's been like 10 years xd

LKH's Otherworks page is on her official site and gives ISBN info as well as pictures of the covers(including the Russian variant on Nightseer - less clothing, big kitties blaugh )

Russian Nightseer:

The site listed above *points* also lists the publications of her short stories. The only two I've tracked down are the ones from the Sword and Sorceress books.
