HI!!! See, people post. xp But I don't count hehe. I'm new to drumline too. I play snare though....and actually I havn't officially gotten the spot but I'm trying really hard. And I'm loving it! If I don't get snare I'll end up in pit.... gonk ....but thats ok. As long as I get to be a part of the fun and craziness of our band I'm good ^. ^

I'm only in middle school and it doesn't offer a drumline, but i have been playing for 5 years, and im really great. I've always heart ed the drums.

I am currently playing the quints (tenors). There is only two freshman including me playing the quints, so this should be fun.

I'm going to be playing first bass this year. ^^ This is my second year in band, though I originally played trumpet, so... we'll see how it goes. sweatdrop

damn straight! Our pit is probably our 2nd craziest section, play-wise. Their music has split runs in sixes and sixteenth notes. CRAZY.
our 1st craziest is the basses heart
2nd bass for life.

Cymbals. OMG you cannot believe what cymbol players are thought of at my school. They're thought of as gays. Because the band caught two of the cymbol guys kissing on the backseat when we were going to UIL. Now it's like a curse because another guy once wore a shirt that lists the top 5 reasons why being gay is "rockin".

We don't have a cymbal line, though we should by next year. I'm sorry that people have made that stereotype to discriminate against cymbalers.
Yeah, so tenors pretty much kick endless a**. I don't even play them in actual band yet, but I play whenever we have a break, cause tenors are more important then water. I survive off of those five drums.
Snare this year, and it's pretty sweet.
