**** I found it a read that I could put down. And I often did just that. It took me a long time to read that book, and it shall take even longer for me to care what it said.
Have always felt that any personal/intimate relationship is based on a want to know the other person. Really know them. Thus, how can any book exclaim what behaviour goes with an individual or what the so called rules are....... that is if we each are unique & special in our own ways.
It was not worth my time. Thank goodness it was a gift to me.
As for the stereotypes...
....umm... with great sarcasm I say the following...
...........all wives are June Cleaver........
...all mothers are Marion Cunningham from Happy Days...
........We all sing like Lara Fabian or Mariah Carey...
...every women looks like Angilina Jolie....
......every child is angelic ....
......every teen is Archie & the gang...
........all girls wear skirts & constantly have cheerleading on the brain ...
....all boys eat worms & climb trees & love girls...
...every liberated female does work a professional career... she does it wearing the perfectly pressed biz suit...steletto heels...a brief case..she is the 100% mother & a Holly homemaker... makes supper effortlessly at the crack of dawn.... hosts a sudden last minute biz dinner for hubby after working all day....drives the children to every event known to humanity...keeps all relationships tidy & well ..has a perfect manicure...smiles with the winisome smile...exists on 4 hours sleep every day.... and has perfection in all things..
.........all men ....
...well ...you get my piont!
Guess being Venus does not suit this lady of the winds.
However I have existed on 4 hours sleep many days in a row... during several stages of my young life.
