Recent Renovations/Updates
-Illy got a life and left. Dx
-Voting for new Seniors and Juniors happened a while ago, and Metanaito became a senior, and Calamity from the Heavens and Sylkis became juniors. Yaaaaay!
-All games in the OOC forum have been moved to "Contests and Games". If your game is missing, please check there before you freak out and explode.
-Blue~x~Rose is our new Senior!
-The Members List has been cleared out! Well, preliminarily. <<; Still lots of work to be done, but we went from 22 pages to 10, so I would say that's an improvement!
-Seniors, once again, be sure to check to Senior Hall periodically. Illy has made a point of putting that thread to some good use. =P

Keep in mind, darlings, we're still in the "alpha" stages. We won't be perfectly running for awhile yet, but we're ready for use now.

Concerning the dying games: Alright, these are starting to annoy me. Not because they are particularly annoying, but just because I'm feeling very OCD lately. So, I'd like suggestions on what to do with them. This conference has been in the Soon To Come: list for long enough that most everyone should know about it anyway.
So, what I was thinking was that if a game reaches two months without a single post, it could be deleted. IN addition to this if the thread-maker requests the thread be deleted by changing the threads topic to something like "PLEASE DELETE," those could be deleted before the two month deadline.
At the moment, there are no games that would be delted for not meeting this deadline until Sept. 12, when 'Broken Heart: Regained' would reach two months (assuming no one posts in it by then).
However, because of Lomaensu's recent comeback, I'm nervous about instigating this plan. So if anyone has any alternate ideas, I'd really love to hear them.

I think the two month deadline is a good idea, but there is always the chance that roleplays will make comebacks, like Lomaensu did. Now I would hate if a role play I liked was deleted without my consent. Like, say, I was waiting for someone to post and they never did, then the thread was gone.
Maybe if a thread reaches the deadline, we can set up a poll here about whether or not to get rid of it? If there are enough votes, we'd keep the thread, but we would mark it. For 'Broken Heart: Regained,' we would add something like DtbD (due to be deleated) to the end so people know. If, at the end of a week no one has posted or if not enough people have posted to properly bring it back, the thread would be gone.
Or we could make a subforum that only seniors could view and if a thread reaches the deadline, it could be moved there. If the owner requests it's brought back, we might, depending on how well the thread had done previously, how often the owner was online, their reasoning for wanting it back, etc.
I sort of threw these two ideas together in a couple minutes, so I don't know how well either of them would work. I need other opinions.

Well, this isn't quite on the topic, but the idea can be implimented for this as well.
I'm very willing to fund the purchasing of additional threads to be added on to the Ooc or Role playing sections.
2500 each, correct?
Yeah, I was about to create a "Memorable Threads" section, just so we can keep some history of the guild intact, but I wanted Syth's approval first.
As far as Deleting old role play threads...
Well, this is just me, but I'd just go ahead and delete the inactive ones.
It's pretty plain to me that if a role play isn't active in a full month, then it's pretty dead.
As for Lomaensu...
The only thing that kept me from deleting it was the knowledge that Hawke and Setty would be returning eventually, which they did, and that makes me happy.
By the way, if no one bothered to read, the main war will be commencing in four hours time in the role play.
So...Action will begin, finally.
