i need serious help with this, especially with fox, how can i tell if i l-cancelled the attack the only one im able to do it with is the d-air

Well that is a dilemma, I think you're just going to have to try and figure it out yourself.
Try a non-shuffld Nair to a Shine
Then try a shuffld Nair to shine and see if it was faster.
