What you do is go into vs. mode and set the goal for one knockout. then set the starting hit piont percentage to its highest. Now, keep beating people over and over again. Every time you're about to unlock a new person, you'll have to fight them. xd

If you want falco be Dk and go on the 100 man melee and go to the bottom and keep using down B.

It would be faster just to do it the normal way.

what i did for mewtwo was just left my game on unpaused with 2 human players link and dk because link's my boy, and did stock 1 untimed, left it there for bout 8 hours then killed dk and got mewtwo, cause i already had like 6 or so game time

It gets mew two indirectly maybe but it does work for the other characters. Most of them anyway. 200 for jiggly puff I think and it increase by hundreds.

Here's another way.
Choose any character, and then have ONE COMPUTER CHARACTER. Choose Ness for the character. When you get to the Stage selection, choose the one where it's all...orangey and stuff, and there's a river. Well, when the battle starts, stay where you are, and when Ness will double jump, he'll land into the river.
AND MAKE THIS ONE LIFE. 3nodding

HydraXWarrior falco_lombardi or to get jigglypuff just beat the event once that would b easier yeah, but jigglypuff's not excactly the best character compared to the other unlockables you know not what you speak. jigglypuff is a badass. (top tier in japan...angst***) but for me, its all about ganondorf, which just means event stages xd
