It was early in the night, and a rough and ready WWF:G crowds had already packed out an entire arena, excited for the brutality they would surely witness inside the elimination chamber.
"Introducing tonight's special guest, she is a former WWF:G Tag Team Champion, Tigerrrr Girrrl!"
Yatta~!!
An instrumental cover of Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever began to play as Tiger Girl walked out through the curtain and onto the ramp, with one arm raised and a huge smile on her face. She received a respectable pop from the F:G faithful, who remembered her more for her happy-go-lucky perkiness than her in-ring escapades. While never reaching the heights of the champions of yore, a tag title run was nothing short of a miracle for someone as young as Tiger Girl was at the time.
She turned her strut into a jog as she made her way towards the ring, slapping the hands of fans as she ran down the ramp. She quickly made her way up the steel steps at the ring corner, making her way onto the apron, and entering the ring through the middle rope. She danced her way over to the announcer, who couldn't help but smile along with Tiger Girl's infectious personality. They gave Tiger Girl a microphone so she could speak. She gracefully made her way to the centre of the ring, looking out at the crowd. It had been a while, but her nerves were steeled, and she was more joyous than anxious to be in front of them again.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Elimination Chamber!"
The crowd erupted; they were happy to be here, on the road to Wrestlemania, with carnage due at any turn on tonight's show.
"I knew as soon as I came through that curtain that you were all excited tonight. And who wouldn't be? After all, it's not every night that we get an Elimination Chamber match! Who's excited!?"
The crowd cheered at TG's prompting. They were eager tonight, and she already had them wrapped around her finger, it seemed.
"When Cartwright called me-"
Suddenly, the crowd booed loudly, so much so that TG had to stop mid-sentence to let them finish. Cartwright was deeply unpopular with the people. And who could blame them? He had been ruling WWF:G with an iron fist, and both crowd and performers alike despised him.
Tiger Girl tried to calm them and continue.
"I know, I know, trust me. He'll get what's coming to him, don't worry, I'm sure we're all looking forward to watching Salem beat on him later tonight!"
The crowd cheered, and a SALEM chant began around the building. TG recoiled slightly, her smile widening. It seems the copperhead's popularity was still as sharp as ever, despite his absence.
"When I receieved the call, asking to make an appearance on the show, and to witness it all from the best seats in the house, how could I say no? So as we are all here tonight, to celebrate, I'd just like to take a moment-"
