xxxℬ𝓲𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝔂xxxxxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx xxxHesperia's family emigrated from Thessaloniki, Greece when her mother was seventeen years old, after she completed her magical training. It wasn't much longer after that when she met Hesperia's father who charmed her into his bed. She was aware that he was a vampire before they hooked up, but the allure of the British vampire let her be charmed. He left the day after and unbeknownst to him, he left her with an extra gift; after that night of passion, she was pregnant. At first her parents attempted to figure out who had impregnated their daughter so they could force him to marry her, but she refused to reveal whom it was who had done it. Hesperia was born at King's College Hospital in London, UK, underweight and premature. She spent almost a month in the NICU of the hospital before being released.
xxxShe always seemed stronger than the other kids her age and at age eight, she discovered she was quite good at sports. She enjoyed playing Muggle football and enjoyed scoring goals as a striker in gym class at her Muggle school. She also enjoyed playing Muggle baseball and hitting the ball. At age nine, within days of each other, both of her baby canines fell out. When they grew back, they were much sharper and fang-like than normal teeth. This disturbed Hesperia greatly and she asked her mother about it. That's when her mother informed her that her father was, in fact, a vampire and had left her the day after they made her. She didn't know his name and could barely remember his face. Hesperia grew to hate her father and vampires in general. Because of her fangs, her grandparents decided that she should be removed from school and homeschooled because explaining the fangs to Muggles would be too much and they didn't believe their granddaughter would be up to the challenge. Hes was relieved when she received her Hogwarts letter because it meant she could go to school again and be around kids her age.xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxxxxxHes was nervous to come to Hogwarts because of the fear her grandparents put in her, but she discovered on the first day that she was not the only half-human at the school. She befriended Tàmhas, a half-nymph. She also joined the Cooking Club where she revealed her garlic "allergy". Hes joined the Quidditch team and was assigned to reserve. But the biggest thing that happened was concerning her friend Tàmhas. She discovered him injured and covered in blood. Resisting the monster inside her, she carried her friend to the hospital wing and got him treated. Later, he figured out her secret and embraced it, promising to protect her secret.
xxxHer second year at Hogwarts started out much better than her first, since she was less afraid of being chased away for her condition. She went to more clubs and tried out for Quidditch again, making the main team! In Quidditch, she went hard, earning many steals from the other teams, even stealing from seventh year players. During her time on the pitch, she started to develop a crush on a boy on her team named Kasamir.
xxxFor a majority of third year, Hesperia and Kasamir made heart eyes at each other and had sort of dates, but neither had asked the other to make it an official relationship. In Quidditch, in her first game of the year, Hesperia took two bludger hits, the first shattering her femur and the second nailing her in the back. Kas carried her to the Hospital Wing after the game. She also got hit once in her second game, though not nearly as hard. Both times she spent the night in the hospital wing and Kasamir brought her dinner. Finally near the end of the year, the two went together on their last Hogsmeade trip of the year and she finally asked him out, making them officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
xxxFourth year was quite busy for Hesperia. Between classes, Quidditch, clubs, and spending time with her friends and boyfriend, she was always doing something. She did have an incident after the second Quidditch game where her monster came out. After a particularly frustrating game, Hesperia stormed off the pitch and destroyed the tapestry corner. She wound up sitting on the floor and drinking her own blood before Kasamir found her. He managed to calm her down and help Healer Kavanagh treat the wounds she'd inflicted to herself. Hesperia had nightmares about the incident for several weeks after.
xxxOver the summer going into fifth year, Hesperia again played rugby in the boys' league, playing harder than she had before. This led her to suffer a pretty bad injury, with two ribs crushed and a severely strained arm. The ribs were healed magically, but her arm wound up in a sling until the start of school. Over the winter break, Kasamir came to Hesperia's house and impressed her grandparents. Also during winter break, her, Kas, Vikram, Csuri, Alice, Seb, and Ella went dress shopping together.Then during the second semester, she suffered a bad Quidditch injury. A bludger hit her in the ribs, breaking two and puncturing her lung. In the end of the year, the Heads held a Flower Dance, which Hesperia attended with Kasamir.
xxxHesperia had been aware of the alarming trend of half-vampires being murdered across three countries, but she never expected her name to be on that list. One day after coming home from a date with Kas, she was lured to the upstairs bathroom where her family was being held hostage. Her half-brother Jean had been committing the murders because he planned to kill their father and he didn't want anyone else there to claim his fortune. Over the course of several hours, he tortured her, cutting her with his knife while he lorded her demise over her. Hesperia endured the torture, keeping him focused on her so he didn't hurt her family. At one point during the torture, she noticed someone outside the first floor window and the figure motioned to her to push him towards the window. Hesperia fought back and pushed him towards the window, at which point the figure burst through the window, snapped Jean's neck, and pulled him out to the ground below. During the fight, Jean's knife penetrated her stomach. Bleeding out, she crawled to first to her bedroom to call for her, dialing Kasamir, then to Niko's room to make sure he was alright. Kasamir arrived, but not before Hesperia had gone into shock. He managed to stabilize her long enough for help to arrive. Aurors investigated the attack, but everyone pushed the story that Hes had saved them by knocking him out the window. After her recovery, her father came to the house, revealing himself to be her savior. His appearance induced a panic attack and she told him to leave her alone.
xxxWhen she went to school after that incident, she was suffering from nightmares and panic attacks. She sought counseling from the hospital wing to continue her sessions from the summer. At chess club, a new first year triggered another panic attack when Hesperia detected the familiar scent of her father. It just so happened that the first year, Andromeda Thayer, was her half-sister. It took some getting used to, but Hesperia wound up taking Andie under her wing. During a Hogsmeade trip in the winter, Hesperia met with Tàmhas to catch up with her oldest friend. She also commissioned two swords from him to celebrate her and Kas' anniversary. Before she left, Lucien visited her at the Three Broomsticks and attempted to engage in conversation.
