Apex vs [Cartwright Strong Style] (War Games)

Tiger skidded along the mat after his knee hut it's mark. With a sharp intent, he quickly rushed for the cover on his giant opponent, hooking the leg in panic as the adrenaline shook him.

Rex grinned viciously as he saw Erynys get blinded. There was a furious yell and he turned and dropped just in time to avoid the punch. Quickly, he would roll back into the ring and pop up before trying to put a boot into Jessie's gut. If it connected, Rex would try to lift Jessie into position and go for his Crucifix Powerbomb.  

[Claire Hawkins]

Being a bit too overzealous, Jessie nearly lost her balance on the landing and that allowed more than enough time to let the bigger Rex to exit and re-enter the ring. When he then planted a boot in her gut and readied her info the crucifix powerbomb.

With Jessie readied, Rex would cast a look...a deranged smile... to Salem before attempting to hit Jessie with the Crucifix Powerbomb with as much force as he could.

Gravity was not her friend tonight.

With nothing between her and the canvas except air and imagination, Jessie found herself being tossed through air like a sack of potatoes. Much like that sack, she also found herself crashing to the canvas very heavily.

As Jessie was slammed down, Tiger went for the cover, hooking the leg.

The crowd did their best to will the German back to life.

The crowd inched on the edges of their seats, practically braying, shouting any types of words of encouragement to Reich or any member of Apex to stop the count.

The crowd was silent for a few moments as if in shock as the bell rang, signaling the end of the match.

"Here are your winners, the team of Cartwright Strong Style!!!

A few younger kids in the audience broke down crying as the rest of the crowd voiced their displeasure.

Salem was dazed but caught a glimpse of Rex glaring sadistically at him as Kobra lifted Jessie and slammed her unceremoniously down, "Showtime" staggering to get up and barely registering the pinfall taking place! But it was too late - Croft couldn't recover in time to make a save for his partner, brought down by a combination of Rex and Tiger!

Stumbling to his feet as the referee lifted Tiger's hand, Salem snarled like a wounded animal provoked and rushed the ropes nearest the divide, springing up and over them towards Rex to deliver the hardest "C.O.D." of his life for what he'd done to his teammates!

Rex looked over at Tiger getting the job done. He barely had any time to celebrate as he was caught with the cutter and slammed to the mat.  

[Salem Croft]

The crowd popped loudly as Salem snapped them out of their depression with a springboard "C.O.D." onto Rex, the cheers and impact snapping "Showtime" awake as he hopped up and pushed up into Tiger, separating him from the official as he made room to check on Eryn! Seeing the venom in his eyes brought concern to Croft's, as he looked up at the official and demanded he call for medical assistance, which the ref promptly signaled to get!

He let out a steam of curses as consciousness came back to him. He gritted his teeth as his eyes burned from the effects of the mist. He did his best to get back to his feet by way of feeling around with his hands and the ring ropes as the officials did their best to get medical attention to him.

The match had officially ended as Cartwright Strong Style would receive the victory. Despite Omen's desires to continue the match, as he had finally made his way to his feet, it seems this would be just a sample of what Omen and Avari would have in the future. But the main groups goal was complete, victory by any means over the nuisance Apex.

Trent would have been preoccupied with taking it to the cornered Cartwright that he never caught the count until the match had already ended. With confusion, Trent backed away from the Boss to check on Jessie and Erynys. The match was over and it was time to ensure his family were okay after what had just happened.
