Apex vs [Cartwright Strong Style] (War Games)

The following match is scheduled for one fall and is your War Games match!

The match takes place inside of two wrestling rings, which are surrounded by a steel cage with no roof.

One wrestler from each team starts the match.

After every ten posts, a new team member enters the match, starting with a member of Cartwright Strong Style and then a member of Apex.

Once everyone enters the match, War Games officially begins.

At this time, the match can be won by pin fall or submission.

If a wrestler leaves the cage at any time, the entire team is Disqualified.

J.R.: "Welcome back to another exciting episode of the WWFG, ladies and gentlemen, and no - you don't need to adjust your screens folks - there's TWO rings set up here for what's guaranteed to be a brutal affair!"

King: "Yeah, J.R. - those Apex PUNKS are about to get what's coming to them, courtesy of Carty Strong Style!"

"Highway To Hell" by AC/DC began to blast through the arena speakers, bringing the audience to their feet as a procession of wrestlers started to step out onto the stage where the cages for each team stood! Avari Fusion, the world champion, Trent, Jessie Lee, and the tag champs, Savage Sons, made up of Salem and Erynys Reich, strutted out into view with Kyra Croft, Salem's daughter, tagging along behind them! Dressed for battle, Apex posed for the crowd as pyro and sparks erupted around them, the fans giving the arriving heroes a warrior's welcome!

"INTRODUCING FIRST...COMPRISED OF THE WWFG WORLD CHAMPION, AVARI FUSION...THE MAN CALLED "TRENT"...THE "AUSSIE OUTLAW", JESSIE LEE...AND THE WWFG TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, "SHOWTIME" SALEM CROFT AND THE "GERMAN JUGGERNAUT" ERYNYS REICH...THIS...IS...APEX!!!"

After a brief series of fist-bumps and shoulder pats, Salem and Kyra were left alone to descend the ramp while an official approached to corral the other members of Apex into their cage as "Showtime" escorted his daughter down the ramp and to her seat in the front row, putting his snakeskin cowboy hat on the girl and kissing her cheek! Stripping his sleeveless shirt off, Salem chucked it into the audience and flexed his taped wrists, his cowboy boots click-clacking on the steel steps as another official opened the door to the cage that engulfed the two War Games rings!

Holding a finger gun up for the crowd, many in the stands reciprocated the gesture, taking aim at the empty cage meant for Carty Strong Style and firing before entering the structure, wiping his feet on the ring apron closest to him and slipping through the ropes, awaiting the first challenger from the other team!

After a screeching shout, “Boy Be A Tiger” began to play, and a man dressed in orange garb walked out onto the ramp. He had two very noticeable features... An orange striped tail, and a hat shaped like a tiger... the Tora No Boushi... the TIGER HAT!

A drowning symphony of boos echoed, bouncing off the palisades of the structure before him. He was despised, especially when put up against APEX, but he was unperturbed. With a smile, he slowly marched down to the cages before him.

Upon reaching them, their golliath size finally hit him, and he looked to the ceiling with a hint of trepidation, his grin fading. He jolted his head back down to Salem, who was standing in the ring.

He made his way into the structure, walking up to the ring apron and leaping over the top rope, in a display of athleticism normally reserved for desperation. The tension was clearly getting to him. Rather than bouncing to warm up, he span into a corner before coming to a complete halt, staring down Salem as he waited for the bell.

 

[Salem Croft]

As the bell rang, Salem started towards Tiger and looked to grav him in a collar-and-elbow tie up, not intending to waste any time on formalities with the masked wrestler! If successful, "Showtime" would seek to twist him into a side headlock, looking to apply pressure to the man's neck and drag him out from the corner!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger met Salem as he charged him, moving his positioning so as to be of even-stance in the tie-up. It was for nought however, as he was locked into the side headlock. Before his opponent had time to fully synch in the submission, Tiger would drop his weight and push against Salem's back, trying to launch him towards the ropes.  

[Salem Croft]

Tiger was a veteran of the squared circle, and no matter the situation he'd be prepared to keep his opponent on their toes! In this case, it was Salem he was sharpening up, using a deft maneuver with his own body weight to toss Salem into the cables! Bouncing back, Salem would throw an arm out to try a stiff lariat on the return!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger, utilising his quick reflexes, would step forward as Salem came on the rebound, and would duck under the arm. He knew that Salem had too much ring-sense to blindly return, and he has already started adjusting his stance in preparation, almost charging under his arm, so as to get to the ropes himself. Using them for momentum, he would run and rebound, and upon reaching Salem would aim a dropkick at his torso.  

[Salem Croft]

Salem missed with his Clothesline attempt, finding Tiger already in motion and trying to cut him off at the pass with a fierce Dropkick! Catching it square in the chest, Salem took a back bump and gripped his sternum, struggling to catch his stolen breath and recover!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger kicked off of Salem, landing on his front after connecting the dropkick. He quickly rose to his feet, looking to press the advantage, and would charge back over to him, aiming a low dropkick at the head of his now fallen opponent.  

[Salem Croft]

The fans booed as the formerly favored feline dropped "Showtime" and sought to keep the champ from getting back up with a rewind of his last maneuver! Only just pushing himself up, the "Copperhead Cowboy" caught a second kick to the cranium, causing him to clutch his skull as Salem slumped back to the mat!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari waits patiently and watches the action from the ring. This cage was smaller than he expected, as he now leans on the bars and looks over at the cage on the other side.

His eyes locked on Omen, and a wry small came across his face.

"Don't die on me, old friend.." he muttered under his breath, as that smile grew from ear to ear.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger rose quickly to his feet again, taking a moment to soak in the crowds boos. He grinned, clearly in a superior position.  

[Undead Superstar]

"3...2...1..."

The ref opened the cage door and Kobra marched out. With a deranged grin, he made his way down to the ring with purpose and determination. As soon as he was in the ring proper, he set after Salem, attempting to deliver a series of kicks to the downed Copperhead.  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright can be heard shouting annoying insults towards the Apex cage, doing his best to try to mentally distract them from the task at hand, as he, Omen and The Butler remain in the Cartwright Strong Style Cage.

Cartwright: "Hey Trent!
Go back to the army!

Hey Erynys!
I heard Hitler was yer Dad!

Hey Avari!
Tell yer Dad I like him more than you!

Hey Jessie!
What are you doing later tonight?!
Wanna sign an NDA?!"

It seemed like Cartwright was full of energy and taunts as he stands firmly behind two different structures of steel while around his others. But there is a lot on the line for Cartwright. Here tonight and as far as the future is concerned. So, let the old chap talk.

How would the others inside the cage react to the insults however? And plus, Salem had a lot on his plate inside the ring with two people that had recently defeated Trent in singles competition. Stay strong, Salem!
