Shoot to Thrill

The main lights dimmed as the music played over the PA. A blue spot light came to life, passing over the audience until it hovers over, finally forming a bullseye in the center of the ring!


Finally, a figure stepped out onto the stage, the blue lights raining down over it. Suddenly a pair of LED glasses came to life along with a similar looking emblem coming over the titantron. Luca Leone stepped further out onto the stage as the words Huntress flashed across the titantron and over the emblem. The Lioness held up both hands up, pointing at either side of the audience, holding her fingers up like guns as series of fireworks went off on stage.

"Weighing in at 120 pounds, residing in Mexico City, the Azure Huntress, Luca Leone!"
Luca stepped off the stage as the crowd erupted with cheers from the explosive entrance. She walked down the ramp, crossing from each side of the ramp to give high fives and handshakes to a few of front row audience members. The Lioness slowly made her way down to the ring, giving her fans as much attention she could spare. As soon as she approached the ring, she immediately ducked under the bottom rope and rolled in.

The crowd let out a roar as the haunting strains of Symphony No. 9 in E Minor IV by: Antonín Dvořák rang throughout the arena.

As the music progressed, a solitary spotlight appeared on the stage, illuminating the giant of a woman, dressed in black tights and military jacket, the commandant hat pulled low, obscuring her features. She glared out stoically from aide to side as the announcer introduced her.

"Introducing from Vienna Austria. Standing six foot seven and weighing in at 185lbs! She is the Beautiful spectre ....THELKA MANDL!"

she marched down to ringside, ignoring the outstretched hands of the fans. She stormed up the steps, her jackboots matching the beat. Discarding her jacket to the ringside attendant, she quickly entered the ring and began a chilling staredown with the Huntress.

Noticing her opponent's gaze, the Blue Blossom returned Thelka's glare with grin and a wave. Luca stepped towards the center of the ring after removing her coat, ready for the bell.

Her eyes narrowed at the friendly wave and her nostrils flared in disgust. As the bell rang, she looked to start the match with a traditional collar and elbow tie up.

Raising her hands and fighting off a giggle, the Huntress would humor her opponent, stepping in for the tie up. Due to Luca's short stature, the much taller woman would have an awkward time trying to lock up with her.

Due to the size difference, a lockup would be tricky, but Thelka decided to use her size and strength to grab onto the arms of the Huntress and look to push her back into the corner.

The Blue Blossom didn't bother putting up too much fight as she was slowly back into the corner. As soon as she was touching the turnbuckle, she'd look to place a foot between her and Thelka to boot her opponent back.

The big Austrian bent over as the boot connected with her midsection as the Huntress tried to create space between them. She would look to answer back with a nasty right hand in retaliation.

The Blue Blossom's kick didn't to effect the tall woman much, as immediately retaliated by slugging Luca! Struck across the face, Luca would respond by swinging back at Thelka.

The return strike by the Huntress did little more than to further anger the giant woman. A sick smile came to the face of Thelka as she gladly accepted the blow and looked to come right back with a vicious uppercut.  

[Mister Mirage]

The large Austrian woman seemed to have one emotion, and anger was an easy read. As Thelka pulled back for the uppercut, Luca would take that opportunity to slip out of the corner. On her way out, the Blue Blossom would suddenly spring up, looking to bump Thelka into the corner with a dropkick.

The blow missed widely and the Huntress took full advantage by moving out of the way and then following through with the drop kick which sent her into the corner herself.
