Nuke Fusion and Lance Hawkwind vs [The Murder Hobos]

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The Spear connected with ferocity, knocking the Barbarian to the mat!

Gruk wasn't down for the count though, and gripped Nuke's head, trying to get him in a headlock..

The ref ran over, trying to pry the two men apart and get them out of the ring!

Lance had managed to just about get up to his knees - the ref's interference giving him a few precious moments, but Aeyre was unrelenting, still raining a flurry of blows onto Lance from above.

He heard the crash as Nuke's spear connected, flooring Gruk, and caught a glimpse of the referee rushing over to deal with the two men scrambling on the floor.

With the ref distracted, Lance waited for an opportunity between Aeyre's wild strikes to go for a low blow!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre was in full control of the situation, right before Gruk rushed the ring. He watched as Nuke speared him into the canvas and the two of them begun brawling.

The ref rushed over, taking Aeyre's concentration away for just a sec-

The low blow connected, and the Fighter felt his soul leave his body in that moment.

The crowd let off a massive jeer as he fell to the ground in agony.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Zayliss was given just enough time in these moments to begin rolling away, all the way to the ropes.

He ended up on the ring apron, gripping onto the bottom rope, and watching the drama unfold in the ring.

JR: "Aeyre gets taken down with a low blow! What an underhanded move from Hawkwind with the ref distracted!"

King: "Hey, it's not pretty, but it certainly works!"

In the midst of the chaos, Lance's low blow had gone unnoticed by the ref. He took a moment to get his bearings before standing up and attempting to haul Aeyre up.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre is dragged to his feet, not only begrudgingly, but in series pain.

The ref watches on and calls over for Lance to get Aeyre out of the ring and get on with the match.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

In the meantime, Zayliss has started to get to his feet on the ring apron.

He watches as Lance keeps his attention on Aeyre, potentially giving him a moment to get back into this match.

The noise of the crowd made Lance oblivious to the ref's calls, and with Aeyre now on his feet, he moved him into position for his finisher.

King: "Uh oh JR, Lance is lining up for his finisher and I don't think he realises that Aeyre isnt the legal man!"

JR: "That's right King, no tag was made, Zayliss is still tagged in and if Lance goes for a pinfall here it won't count!"

With a yell, Lance attempted to hit Aeyre with a Free Fall!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre was pretty powerless to defend himself as the Free Fall came in, planting his cranium hard into the mat.

But.. did Lance think this was the end?

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Zayliss watched and waited patiently, standing on the ring apron.

The moment that he had a chance, he was planning something big here..

Now, it was just patience and waiting for his moment.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke and Gruk eventually ended up brawling so much that they rolled outside of the ring.

Getting to his feet, Fusion decided to leave the Barbarian there and head back to his corner.

After planting Aeyre with a crushing Free Fall, Lance looked around him. The ref was up, Nuke and Gruk had brawled their way out of the ring, and Aeyre was face down in front of him.

He rolled Aeyre over and went for the cover, leaning back eyes closed and waiting for the ref to start the count.

King: "He's gone for the pin but the ref can't count it!"

JR: "Lance has no idea that Zayliss is still tagged in! He thinks he's going for the win here but he's going to be disappointed!"

A few moments passed without anything. No thud of the ref's hand, no count being shouted. He opened his eyes to see the ref with his attention elsewhere...

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Zayliss had been patient and waited like a hunter in these last few moments. As Lance realised that there was no pin count, the Wizard shouted out,

"Over here, bird man!"

Zayliss would then leap up onto the top rope and try to leap over for a Flying Forearm!

As soon as Lance had got to his feet to confront the ref, he heard the shout from behind him and turned just in time to get knocked straight back down as the flying forearm connected.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The crowd erupted as the high-flying move connected hard, as Zayliss immediately rolled on top of Lance for a pinfall!
