Nuke Fusion and Lance Hawkwind vs [The Murder Hobos]

The following 4 vs 2 Handicap Match is scheduled for one fall!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

With the crowd all ready and pumped up, their attention was all taken aback as the lights turned off with an audible 'Doof doof doof' around the arena, a big logo popping up on to the titantron.





A loud voice came over the PA system as a spotlight hit the stage..

"Rooooooooll for initiative!"


Wizards - Gloryhammer

High in the Cairngorm Mountains
An ancient war still burns
A magical missile shoots and fireball explodes
These are the spells of the wizards
Fighting the demon horde
A secret battle for eternity


Walking out from the back came the famous adventuring party, The Murder Hobos!. All dressed in their adventuring attire, they stood on the ramp and looked out across the crowd, this time to a loud pop and cheer - and a little chuckle from some of the members, too.

The four of them then turned and looked as a member of the backstage crew brought out a gigantic D20 dice!

Aeyre took a microphone from the stage hand and addressed the crowd again.


"My name is Aeyre, and I am part of the world's best adventuring group.. The Murder Hobos! Right now you will bear witness to the greatest party .. rolling for initiative!"


The party each takes turns rolling for initiative, to see who would compete first in this match.

Aeyre rolls .. a Nat 20!

Gruk rolls .. a 9!

Noko rolls .. a 11!

Zayliss rolls .. a 2!

The stage hand takes the giant D20 back with him, as Aeyre picks up the microphone again.


"The dice has spoken! Tonight, I will begin this match! Now.. it's time to fight!"


The titantron logo switched again as their theme continued.

The four men end up circling the ring, before jumping up.

Together they enter and ready themselves for the 4-on-2 handicap match to come.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

With the electricity in the air palpable, everyone watched and waited with baited breath as the commentators slowed down their conversation to the screen.

The lights dropped, as four spotlights took to the stage, illuminating a single spot, with Shadow Moses kicking in.

Rising up from under the stage stood Nuke Fusion, dressed in a stunning red/burgundy mixed attire. An almighty roar came from the crowd as the entrance music really kicked in, strobe lighting kicking in at the same time, an ode to a past time when Nuke used that effect.





The strobing slowly came away as Fusion stepped forward towards the ramp, raising a hand up to his eyebrows and making a sweeping searching gesture out at the crowd. He beat his chest several times with his fist as they roared back, with Nuke now making his way down the ramp.

"Making his way to the ring.. weighing in at two-hundred and fifty pounds.. Nuke! Fusion!"


I thought I'd buried you,

Severed the feeling,
I slipped through the cracks and you caved in my ceiling,

The spotlights followed Nuke down the ramp as he picked up in to a jog, sliding in to the bottom rope and running to a turnbuckle. He jumped up in one leap and raised a fist in to the air, to another pop from the crowd.

Nuke continues to do this at each corner, before jumping down and taking off his jacket, giving it to the referee to put away. He beats his chest again, turning to face the stage as his music dies off.

The main lights go down as music begins to build, spotlights in white and orange darting around the darkened arena.

Get on your knees and
BOW.
DOWN.

Two bursts of bright orange fireworks fire up from the top of the ramp, in time with "Bow. Down." followed by a mixed chorus of boos and cheers echoing around the arena as I Prevail - Bow Down pumps out over the speakers.

Aa the smoke clears, and the main lights come up, the spotlights zone in on Lance, stood with his back to the arena, right hand in the air throwing up the horns, his shoulder length hair resting on the top of a black leather cutoff emblazoned with his initials and a coat-of-arms style eagle.

The titantron flares into life, displaying Lance's name, and flashing between clips of his recent matches in with some of his best spots from his days with The Outcasts.

Lance turns to face the arena, throwing both the horns up to a mix of cheers and boos, and begins walking down the ramp toward the ring.

When he got to two thirds of the way down the ramp, Lance broke into a sprint, diving under the bottom rope as he reached the edge of the ring, sliding into the centre.

Lance walked to the turnbuckle to his left, climbing the ropes and raising his hands, throwing up the horns with both. The crowd popped and there was a flash from a sea of camera phones.

Lance jumped down, going over to the opposite turnbuckle before climbing the ropes again and throwing the horns for a second time to another crowd pop and more camera flashes.

As the track finishes, Lance jumps down from the turnbuckle and walks over to Nuke.

"You want the first run at these guys?"

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke gave Lance an odd look, it seemed to be one of unease and uncertainty.

He nodded and stepped to the side so that Lance could exit the ring. Once he had done so, he stepped forward a pace and waited for the match to begin.

Lance nodded and stepped out the ring onto the apron, waiting for the bell to ring and get this match underway.

He had mixed feelings about this match, being the first time he was partnering with Nuke since leaving The Outcasts all those years ago.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre was looking pumped up for this match, and even more so with the fact that he was allowed first shot at Nuke..

The same man who turned on him and battered him with a steel chair just the previous show.

As the bell rang, he called out to his opponent.

"You're going to get what's coming to you, Nuke. The Murder Hobos will get their revenge tonight!"

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Nuke listened to Aeyre's words and pondered them for a moment. He knew that he hadn't been himself in that flash of red last show, but .. that didn't matter for now, he had a match to fight in.

Fusion stepped up, no small talk, and offered tie up to begin the match.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre noted that Nuke hadn't replied, instead offering a traditional tie-up.

Leaning in to accept it, he quickly transitioned into a harsh kick to Nuke's shin.

If successful, he would then aim for a follow-up forearm to his face.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The kick was hard and sent Nuke almost stepping back, but he was soon caught with a forearm.

Fusion immediately held his face in instinct and stepped back one step, to give himself a little space.

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

If Nuke thought that he was getting away that easy, Aeyre wasn't going to let up. He then aimed a series of gut punches to the abdomen.. he was really trying to light Nuke up!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The gut shots came in hard, and almost rocked Nuke from the offset. He lurched backwards and aimed a hard right back at Aeyre, trying to keep him away!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre had connected with everything so far, and now Nuke was on the offensive to try and keep him away.

The fighter took a side step away from the right hook, and aimed a low kick to the shin again, following up after with a high kick to the face!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Low kick.. connected!

High kick.. also connected!

Nuke was rocked by the kick to the face and stepped back immediately, one arm out to feel for any incoming attack, and one arm on his face.

This was already looking like retribution for TMH!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Aeyre had Nuke where he wanted him, but now he was backing away.

The figher dropped low and looked to sweep the legs of Fusion!
