[Avari Fusion] vs Dustin Reeves

Dustin quickly got back to his feet after delivering a nasty snap suplex to Avari. He then hurriedly went over to the champ and attempted to grab his hair to sit him in an upright position before he tried to land a few punches to the top of his cranium.

Crack!

Crack!

The shots to the head were hard as nails, as Avari did his best to cover up, but not to much effectiveness.

He tried to push Dustin away from him as best as he could.

Reeves pushed back by Avari quickly tries to keep his advantage in the match tries to stand Avari back on his feet, the crowd sitting in silence perplexed that this new comer was not only standing toe to toe with their champion but was actually giving him a bit of trouble, this time Dustin was looking for an Irish Whip into the corner of the ring.

The Irish Whip had Avari going across the ring, coming back at Dustin..

But what could the rookie pull out this time?

Dustin waits patiently for Avari's bounce back from the ropes. As the champ is
making his way back Dustin steps up onto Avari's thigh grabbing his head and then falls backwards attempting a huge Monkey Flip to the outside of the ring.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

To say that monkey flip was impressive would be an understatement..

The World Champion went hurtling over the top rope, landing hard on the outside. The momentum took him rolling across the mats and colliding with the barricade with a thud.

Fans nearby all leaned down to check on The Man of the Hour, with the ref leaning over worrying.

Reeves was surprised his tactics were working so far. He leaned against the ropes looking over at his grounded opponent on the outside. The fans in dismay that their champion was being pushed around the ring. The referee started the countout as Dustin climbed through the middle ropes settling on the apron.

At two Dustin leaps off the apron trying to hit Avari with an elbow drop...  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The elbow drop looked majestic as Dustin soared through the air.. but, through pure luck, Avari had rolled away just in time.

He had, in fact, been trying to get to his knees to start getting back up.. but, somehow, had avoided a big impact!

Dustin hit the outside of the ring with a loud plop that was heard throughout the arena. The fans cheered as Avari avoided the attack, meanwhile Dustin wriggled around in pain on the floor, obviously in pain from the impact. He held his arm trying to regain some kind of composure as he got was currently seeing Stars. The referee seeing Dustin fly to the outside had to restart the countout count.

Avari, out of pure luck, had begun to roll away just as Dustin came soaring through the air.

Unfortunately, leaving Reeves nothing but the cold, hard mats!

Dustin took a few moments to get back to his feet. The crowd booing him for even trying. Reeves once on his feet flips the fans off and then while still shaking off the cobwebs in his brain he made his own way over to Avari.

The referee continued the count as Dustin tried scooping Avari to his feet. He then proceeded to lift Avari up above him in a suplex motion trying to set him up for his signature called "Seeing Stars".

Dustin scooped Avari from the mats outside, lifting him high into the air..

But before he could plant the move, Fusion shifted his body weight to fall behind Dustin, before attempting to push him into the steel steps!

Dustin was caught off guard by Avari's reversal and as Avari pushed him forward he flew into the steel steps hitting them head first. The sound of the impact resonated through the arena as the fans cheered their champions comeback. Dustin held his noggin in pain falling to the floor outside rolling around.

Avari felt the back of his head after the impact he had, and realised just how close to the ten count the ref was at.

He wanted to keep on the attack but, instead, rolled into the ring to break the count.

He took a few moments to check his own injuries before he rolled back out to the outside - much to the dismay of the ref.

By the time Avari made his way back to the outside Dustin was on his feet leaning against the announcer's table. He shook his head trying to clear it, as he is doing this he he grabs Avari's title belt from the ring hand and holds it to his chest hiding it from Avari as his back is turned towards him. He stood there biding his time waiting for the perfect moment to strike his opponent. The referee now starting a new count.
